Me too...for me Caldwell's been our far more consistent player by a long way.

McArthur has been like a breath of fresh air in the SPL. Surely he'll get a move in the summer!

It was a close call for me between Driver, who I rate highly, and McArthur.

I don't see what all the hype about McCarthy is though? He is very talented but just because he is young and in the first team it does not make him brilliant. His slightly elder, McCarthur is years ahead of him in terms of quality. He can control a game as much as anyone at Accies can these days.

i was looking out for mccarthy all year, due to all the hype attached to him, he looks like he'll be * hot, but mcarthur has been the one who has impressed me most.

Me too. Brown and McCarthy. Whilst I am a huge fan of Caldwell, you couldn't say he is in the same class as Brown. He is however consistent and a great asset

Scott Brown and James McCarthy for me, wee McCarthy has been class for Hamilton and is younger than me :54: I think he's their top scorer.

Normally the player of the year would stick out like a sore thumb each year or we would have at least 2 to choose from but this year in the league, I can't say that anyone deserves the tags player of the year. better than the rest of the crap should be the label on the trophy this year, which IMO would have to be probably Brown, who incidentally game away a stupid foul on Saturday which led to the Hearts equaliser.

I used to care about who it was, but not any more. Winning the league and any cup competition ranks higher on my wish list.
I Remember a year Larsson won both the awards and Rangers won the treble. It didn't make me feel any better.

They should be grateful they got someone on it never mind 2 average players. Rangers have totally scraped by this season.

Heard an interesting stat about Boyd the other day. He's got 26 this season? That is great, not taking that away. But it was either 84 or 86% of his goals for Rankers have been against bottom 6 teams. Yep, we need to score against them. 26 is a number that should be in contention for a POTY award but more than 14-16% HAVE to come against the better teams. I think ten this season have been from penalties tOO???
