IF U WERE GIVIN 40 MIL WHO WOULD U KEEP?

If u were manager of celtic and u were givin a 40 mil war chest to buy a new team, what players (if any) would u keep and why?
ill start us off.

Lukuz Zaluska - Great, young goalkeeper, will be poland number 1 next year.

Aiden McGeady - Great pace and skill, would hate to see him go.

Scott Brown - Torments opposition and frustrates players into submission.

aye agree with that apart from id Keep Boruc insteed ae Zaluska. Id then buy quite a few tasty players with that money

 

I'd keep Wilson for his talent and advantage of youth
McGeady - Talent not worth letting go of
Scott Brown - Works his socks off and can win games single handed.
Caldwell/Mcmanus- Great defensive partnership!
Robson - Great player with good vision and commitment.

 

id keep:

zaluska and boruc - no point in bringing anybody in when you have them two

caldwell and hinkel - bring in a real quality CB and LB - 10 million

brown, mcgeady, crosas, naka - buy a CM and two wingers - 15 million

mcdonald - bring in 2 quality strikers to work alongside skippy - 15 million

 

I'd keep Naka.

would keep boruc, mick n caldwell,hinkel,brown,naka, skippy

 

Boruc - We have all seen what he is capable of in the big games, He's by far the best celtic goalkeeper i have ever watched.

Hinkel- I was not to sure about this boy but he just keeps on getting better and better.

Caldwell- He is a calm and composed defender with a good football head.

Mcgeady- He still has alot of weak points in his game, but he's only going to improve.

Naka- because Class is permanent, simple.

Crossas - He has alot of potential, he's still very young.

Brown - I have always seen scott as Celtics new lennon, i would love to see him in that role. He needs another player beside him to be the creative player.

Mcdonald - I'm not his biggest fan, it was originally for the way he celebrated after scoring the goals that stoped us winning the league. I have eventually forgiven him for that, but in genral i just don't like his attitude, he is always snarling at other team members for a misplaced pass or throwing his arms around angrily when he does'nt receive a pass, i would have to keep him though because at the minute he's the only one that scores goals.

The Rest- Are just not good enough to play at the level we want Celtic to compete at, ie the champions league

 

I'd keep the 40 mil and do one.

I'd keep Boruc, Zaluska, Hinkel, McManus, Caldwell, Loovens, Wilson, Brown, McGeady, Crosas, Maloney, Nakamura, Hartley & Roson as back up, McDonald and Samaras.

Also the likes of Misun, Mizuno, McCourt, Caddis, Sheridan and Hutchisnson would be still on the fringes with the hope they can start making a big impact.

With the £40 mil i'd buy Taye Taiwo for left-back, i'd bring in a very pacey winger and 2 strikers, preferably a target man and one with pace. And if i was the manager i'd have a scouting network to give me suggestions, then i could spout names rather than positions

Whilst I think Barry, Maloney, Caldwell, McManus, Hartley, Samaras and McDonald are all OK if not good players in the SPL, I always look to Europe and for improvement.
