Watching War of the Worlds on TV for the umpteenth time.

    Great film.

    Uncomfortable at times, too.

Just watched man of steel, I thought it started out quite promising but it went down hill a bit 7/10

Trainspotting, seen it a dozen times, classic.......Begbie didn't do drugs, he just did people :smiley-laughing002:

Elles, a French film about a women journalist who interviews a couple of student prostitutes....not bad....used to watch a lot of foreign films but don't these days. Might get back into it.

Wolf Creek 2 ...actually enjoyed it like I did the first...(probably in a minority)

I cant stand slasher movies they are painfully pish....but these 2 are a little more realistic and based on real events

this one had more humour and even more gore....The killer is a * legend....a truly scary character.....

Passes a few hours for fun and gore

The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug

Absolute rank * rotten. I dunno * I bought it for, I hated the first one too. Was thinking it surely must be better and I really enjoy the LOTR trilogy, but * me, what a lot of bollocks.

The Dragon is cool(ish) and to be fair, the last hour or so is passable, but, christ, its sooooooooooo long and needlessly drawn out. I dont think Peter Jackson understands what pacing is....

Deliverance the movie is about 40 years old, but still disturbing as ever. Classic.

'' Explain this to me again. I didn't know somebody could shoot themself with their own arrow.''
