The prestige, it was alright, the twist was good.

Feel the need to post every time I watch it, but just seen The Prestige again. Absolutely perfectly written film, Christopher Nolan is a genius. In my opinion the best film ever made. Stirring stuff. Becomes clearer and clearer with every watch aswell.

:smiley-laughing002: Honestly how the * is The Prestige alright? It's * amazing. Every single person I've met who's seen it (more than 10 I'd say) have all put it up there in their top 5.

    You've lost it.

Its alright because its fantastical and the two main characters have no personality. Anyone who has that in their top 5 obviously hasnt seen any real great films because that is nowhere near the best film of all time. Didnt you say that "dont you worry child" was one of the best songs ever? Just curious :50:

Was looking forward to seeing it ever since I seen the trailer a few months back. Fantastic cast and the story seemed like it could be pretty decent. It was actually one of the worst films I have seen in a looooooong time!! It seemed as though, they tried to make it a comedy, James Gandolfini's character was terrible! Not happy with this movie at all.

Just about to watch The Dark Knight Rises now. Lets hope it puts me in a better mood :50:

No I most certainly did not. I love a lot of Music from a lot of artists but Pink Floyd holds the award for best song, the Beatles have a few too. I said that DYWC was a * tune though, which it is. Especially when you're in a club and you've had a few drinks. :smiley-laughing002:

And I've seen all the 'classics' and appreciate a good film. However that story is second to none, Nolan is a genius.

I probably did in jest or too disagree with someone such as yourself (we always agree on everything) but I can assure you it is not how I really feel.

I don't know why I'm justifying my taste in music to you anyway :bbpd:

    Shocker.

Just gave the new Ben Stiller film 'The Watch' a go.

    Absolute garbage.

Don't know why I though it would be similar to Meet the Parents.

Had no idea there was an alien element to it.

Just not my style of film.

    Ben Stiller is ageing...
