watched some film last night, called "The Hole" .....weird film, pretty * tbh.

Seen the Karate Kid the other day, the one with will smith's son in it... it's alright, not as good as the original karate kid films though.

Rare these days hear about a film that I was compelled to see in the cinema and I wasnt disappointed. Watching F1 cars, old or not, on a cinema screen is an opportunity not to missed, especially when its about Senna. The biggest surprise was the amount of archived footage they got for the film, nothing is reconstructed or recollected, they have the footage of it actually happening, be it in the garage or at a drivers meeting!

F1 fan or not, Senna fan or not, this is a must see documentary about a genius, a man that could master any car, push it beyond its design capabilities and constantly drive on the ragged edge of what was physically possible and all his accomplishments done before the dawn of electronic aids which are now ingrained into F1.

A humble man off the track, racing out of love and purity of the sport but a win at all costs driver on the track with a disregard for himself and other drivers as he tried to conquer the sport and its politics. His battles with Prost in 89 & 90 is the stuff of Hollywood writers dreams and if you dont know the story, you need to see it!

The theatrical cut didnt highlight the enigma and genius of Senna as well as it could have and they made Prost out to be the 'hollywood villain' which wasnt needed but I'm hearing that the 3 hour cut thats 'available' has more stuff and paints a better picture of Senna and his rivalry with Prost which I will be hunting down.

30 Days of Night: Dark Days. It's a straight-to-DVD sequel to 30 Days of Night, the horror vampire film which is pretty decent, this sequel though is pretty *.

Before that it was The Fighter - superb film.

I wrote that off the top of my head, I'm bit of a fan! :52:

I saw no trailer, read no reviews or internet comments or knew anyone that saw it. I went in expecting an orgy of tributes by people that knew him, raced against him but its actually filled with from start to finish with archived footage, stuff I didnt think ever existed until I saw it last night.

Some of the scenes gave me goosebumps, especially Martin Donnelly's crash and the footage of his last lap, compelling viewing even though I've watch that lap many times.

I thought he was talking about the one with thora birch and kiera knightley, where they live in like a bomb shelter instead of going a school trip.

watched The Town with Ben Affleck and the bloke from hurt locker. About Irish American bankrobbers from Charlestown in Boston, thought it was really good

Also watched the remade True Grit. Brilliant every bit as good as the original. in fact i prefered the new one

EDIT: Just looked up Srpski Film after seeing it mentioned. WHAT THE *!!!! I never ever ever want to see that. As soon as i seen the phrase 'newborn *' in a review, i knew that was no for me
