He made a fantastic save in the 2nd half as well. Great keeper and he'll get as much practice as he did at Newcastle playing in that team:56: What a defence!!

Reminded me of the huns when they went away to Werder Bremen last season. Can't remember who it was, but one of their guys hit the bar as well.

    Man City.

Last nights game was de ja vu for me. City were playing them off the park, same way we did, for almost the duration. Aalborg then score and they panic, exact same way we did.

But Aalborg did their tactic perfectly. They knowned they couldn't play City equal the whole match, so they wanted to draw the first half, and then gamble later in the game, which worked out just as they wanted.

To get in a penalty contest (a kind of 50/50-situation) isn't bad against a team where one players is more expensive than your own whole team.

To create all these results out of "nothing" demands some respect.

It's just a simalery scenario back when Celtic knocked Barcelona out of the UEFA Cup. Nobody could deny Barcelona where "unlucky" and a better team. But it's the results that counts, and fact is that Aalborg have'd scored alot of goals in Europe this season.

    Cheer up.

Poor team but managed to get the results I'm just bitter that we didn't beat them both times.

Well I was there but had to leave at half time to catch the last train home. I didnt see the penaltys but had to listen to them on a car radio outside the train station. A cracking trip spoilt as usual by the football. I hate to admit it but I thought City were poor on the night.
