Well it's tough trying to find any optimism going into this game with 3 dreadful results in the compitition already and we seem to be hitting a bit of a stumbling block domestically and then there's the "board did'nt spend any money" situation, throw no chris sutton in on top of that and varga and camara been doubtfull you have to ask yourself were can you drum up a bit of confidence going into this game???

To this i can only find one answer........... The Fans

CP was a fortress for 3 years in europe and much bigger teams than shakhtar could'nt break us so if CP is turned up to full volume tommorow night i think the bhoys will respond and finally put 3pts on the board for us.

I think the bhoys will do it, i'll take my cam along aswell get some pics for yous, i can see the game being very tight and the players being little nervous but with the crowd behind them we will roar them on to victory

could have done with a few moreg goals but said i would be happy with any win...so 3 points it is...

Won 1-0 in the end and I'm just happy we held it, we seemed to play better against 11 men than we did against 9! Think we have the ref to thank for a lot tonight, not only for the first sending off (Camara blatently dived) but also for the free kick which led to the goal which was a bit harsh but I certainly arnt complaining!

Just got back from my csc and overall am pretty happy with the performance as a win is a win, thought McGeady did well on his first CL start and also thought Hartson and Marshall had tidy games.. Camara for me was awful, im not convinced that he was worth the money, sure he bangs in goals in the spl but thats not saying a lot,I could bang in a few goals in that league. Thought the defence also had a reasonably good game, which is very suprising! Also nice to see us not picking up too many bookings.

We have to get a result against either Barca or Milan with the latter looking the more likely as goal difference isnt on our side. I think we can do it, but we need as many players fit as poss.

totally agree abut Camara... pile of mince..

dont see him being worth £6 million in the summer....let alone the loan fee...

seems like the tv pundits thought he had a good game and out in a shift..i must be missing something...
