Yes guys another tech question from a blonde LOL

OK before anyone says it yes its against the law to copy DVDs but some of my kids dvds are getting a bit tatty and I can't aford to keep buying replacements.

I've got a DVD writer on my comp but have never really used it as it just came with the package.

    So my questions are.

    1. What sort of dvds do I need to copy on?
    2. What software do I need?
    3. Is it possible to copy dvds?

    Many thanks

    xx

Think I've got Nero on my comp. Will have a look at it later.

What if the dvd is copyrighted?

  10. Corinne, you are one dodgy *!

First it's free texts, now it's free DVD's!

    And, calling a Celtic supporter a Hun isn't a great idea! :50:

Such language for a 14 year old.

Listen hun, I haven't asked anything about free texts and the only reason I asked about copying dvds is so I don't have to go out and keep replacing my kids dvds that they watch all of the time.

I am not technically blessed so that is why I ask.

I suggest that you grow up.

It is legal to make one backup copy of each dvd you own.

  15. Hey, got you mixed up with someone else!

No need to take it the wrong way really.

Don't have anything against you copying DVD's and swearing around the forum is something you need to get used to!
