Firstly its Bowie's song, he doesnt do a version of it.

The thing is that most of you probably heard the Nirvana version of the song long before you heard the original, so when you heard Bowie singing it didnt sound like the version you were used to hearing.
I dont mind that the production is poor on the original, for me its "of that period"and adds to the charm.

Oh, and for the record, Lulu's version is top class :50:......no bull !

Ok, just listened to the song for the first time from all three artists - The Nirvana version bored me to tears, how any Bowie fan can say that version is better than Bowie's is beyond me and Lulu's version kept my interest in the song the most even though it was the third song I listened too.

Bowie produced, did backing vocals and played sax on Lulu's version. :50:

A lot of people won't like Nirvana's because they associate Nirvana with heavy songs like SLTS, so when they hear a Nirvana song, they instantly don't like it.

I like Nirvana, but TMWSTW is not up there with my favourite songs.

I do, and always have been a Nirvana fan.
Just think that the song was not as good as the original.
