    Because Celtic FC was started by an Irish Priest called Brother Walfrid as a Charity for The Irish Immigrants who fled Ireland in the late 18th Century when The Potatoe Famine caused widespread Poverty, Celtic wear The Irish Green, The Greatest Club team in The World first British Club to Win The European Cup !!!!

    At the risk of being pedantic, Celtic began with all white and a green shamrock (maybe) as their strip, then it was green and white vertical stripes then the hoops in early 190Os i think - remember hundred years of the hoops shirt?:50:

    I wouldnt wear those chavy fluffy boots cos he doesnt like them (neither do I)... When ur an item, u make some sort of compromises.


    He's got some Liverpool tops, as well as a RoI one, Barcelona. That's why I wanted to take somethin from Celtic, cos he likes them.

    I shouldnt have come and ask it here as you seem to be sooooo welcomin.
    I was only askin for some advices , not to be judged for my tastes or his.

    wow. I like that training top as well. Never seen it before. I'll have to check the website to see if it's available.
    But I agree with most everyone else, the hoops shirt would be my first choice

    welcome to the site sandra - the third strip is nice (all black with green trims) but if ur lookin for something different the trainin top is a cracker ( all white with green bits )
