    The wee man in the middle for Barca. Never does anything fancy and never loses the ball. Controls everything. Is this wee whippersnapper the greatest player of his generation? Ronaldinho has all the flicks and skill but the team revolves around the wee one. When he plays well so do Barca.

    No way m8 Stan the man a lot better easy the best Midfielder in the UK just now Lampard is a good player only when he is attacking Lampard doesn't track back but our Petrov does one minute in the box the next in his own box winning the ball,The best Midfielder in the World at the Moment is Ronaldinho but do Barca play him as a Striker or a Midfielder but he still is Some player what a couple of beautys last-night in the derby with Real-Madrid

    I must say I like Petrov better than most of the big midfielders in Europe. If he could produce in every game like he does in the big matches then im sure he would be top 5 in the world.

    Lampard is the best player in UK, not sure about Xavi being the best in the world though. He's one of the best players in the world at doing what he does though.

    Put lampard in an average side i.e Everton, ManCity, bolton and he wouldn't make much difference to them. He benefits from top class players around him. Joe Cole has more talent in his little toe than Lampard.
    Kaka's the man, top midfielder in the world.

    Ronnie aka The Dentist is the best midfielder in the world, he controls barca's tempo, movements, and can turn a game in 5 seconds with his amazing runs and dribbling skills.

    True m8 look at what Steven Garard done in the C.L final What a display of courage from a midfielder captain Marvel that was the best i have ever seen from a Midfielder he singled handed Liverpool the life-line then bang goal again then the Pen thats what he+Petrov+Lampard do best there Runs from Midfield Awesome display at Istanbul from Garard how much is he worth £30/£40-million so Petrov surley in with that crowd easy some great players already but can some of them boast as being there coutrys Captain that must be the best Honuour any player could get
