With Balde going in the summer, I'm sure there will be wages available to bring in a quality striker who's hungry to play in the CL.

Iv got a feeling if boyd goes to birmingham then rangers will try and buy Fletcher from hibs and it would be great to pinch him from them.

I agree, we need a quality striker desperatly. We have had some of the best strikers at our club, sutton, larsson, hartson. Its hard for any player to fill them boots. I see us grabbing a quality striker during the summer, we have tremendous facilities, best fans in the world and the attraction of playing in the CL. the sooner the better.

Im happy with the strikers weve got until summer. Its not like the huns are gonna have a squad capable of challenging for the title after Januray! :bbpd:

Would Fletcher be good enough for us? I rate him more than Sammy but I'd prefer Skippy and Jan. Would be not bad back-up I guess?

Id see him more of a squad player but the guy has pace and strength and is better with the ball at his feet than sammy , he's only 21 i think and has great potential so i wouldn't think it would be a bad move if we went for him. Might be a bit pricey but !

    I disagree.
I believe our strike force can get us goals.
We do however, lack some pace up front.

Samaras better * pull his finger out soon, i've never rated him tbh, not even when he was scoring fluently. Not a good strike partner with skippy either. Sammy just seems so * lazy, it angers the * out of me, not to mention he is far from clinical.
