Strachan wouldnt let him go imo

 

gets a bit of a raw deal for me naylor. . .he aint the best i know but for some reason i like him. . .he never hides and always does his best.

 

Would only sell him if there was a replacement lined up.

 

If we've got a replacement lined up then happy days. If not, we're stuck with him for now.

 

Selling our only natural LB without a replacement would be daft. I dont think GS would sell him lightly unless the player asks to go.

I dont think they want to put Misun in straight away

 

Naylor is not by any stretch of the imagination a "Gianluca Zambrotta" but he is doing a job for us and Strachan won't let him go without a natural left back replacing him.

To be honest in recent weeks, we've seen about 90% of the Lee Naylor of 07/08.

 

I also think he is a convenient whipping boy for some people as has been said he never shirks and hes always trying for us so i admire that in any player

 

Hes got bottle after taking the first sudden death penalty.

I still find him too clumsy.

Naylor is far from my favorite player, but he is our only natural LB.

 

I can kind of understand this.
He isn't the best but i agree, he does try and he is an easy target.

 

I think he made a rod for his own back with some of his Euro performances. It's like a gambling syndicate has something over him:

"This week, Lee, we need you * up around about he 60th minute and let their winger through"

"But all I want to do is play!"

"Not 'til you've paid back what you owe us. Now continue with the * crossing".

 

No other leftback = no sale

 

I dont hate Naylor, but we can do so much better. Until we have a replacement though, its Naylors job.. Do you really wanna see Robson back there?

 

i think one of his problems is mcgeady who cant track back and who imo has been the weaklink of our midfield this season
if only we got him back to form of 06/07 remember vs man utd at cp when he had ronaldo in his back pocket?

 

I would let him go only if we sign a decent LB but that look's unlikely so i would rather keep him for now.

 

he will be sold only if we get another lb.and not before either way this is his last season here,

 

I agree mcgeady has to cover up with him as thats what happens on the other side
