i dont think he's lazy... he does try, just dosnt look interested in linking up with anyother player.

 

The fact of the matter is, the lad is * *.

 

Gotta say sammi just not been doin for me either since he's got back from injury!!!

Cannae wait for big jan to get fully fit, him and skippy are our best front two imo.

it might be two points the now but come Feb we'll be back up to our usual +7 point gap in the league!!!

may be if his own supporters would get behind him (rather than just boeing off the pitch and insulting) for some time he could find some confidence again.
he has still scored 5 goals more than McDonald for example.

 

I just find him annoying, really poor first touch and sometimes really poor finishing aswell fair enough has scored some important goals and he did give us a hand last season when we started to struggle towards the end of the season. But id prefer sheridan over him any day. I like JVOH his work within the team and setting up Mcdonald all last season

 

Players know they get stick when the play bad and get praise when they do well. Ask a lot of professionals they say that it comes with the game. Yes, sometimes unfair but to be honest Samaras has not been getting too much stick and his performances have been terrible.

 

He get's paid thousand's per week and he cant handle some boo's?? Maybe he should prove his worth on the pitch instead of being a * mopey useless *.

 

He's good against the lesser sides in the SPL.

That "mopey useless *" scored both goals last week....wonder if he was a "mopey useless *" then or has he suddenly been downgraded over the space of a week.

Get a grip FFS and put things into perspective...he had a bad game and so did a few others. We lost, it happens to every team, even the great teams.

Last time I looked we were still top of the league and the second place was filled by a team who I don't rate above ours and who are under serious pressure to sell some of their best players.

The league lasts till May, we're only in mid January...

 

Im not saying we wont win the league, but any striker could and should finish the chance's sammy has had.

 

most posts imply he was the worst striker in the spl. but he has scored 12 times and is the currently 2nd best goalscorer in the spl.

I see he doesn't look very well at the moment and he has to improve his game. however he didn't do anything that justifies that stick and insults he gets at the moment. it shows the lack of respect and decency from certain users.

constructive criticism yes, but no slagging fest. slagging our best goalscorer really doesn't make you look too smart by the way.

 

He's a bit of an enigma tbh. I was shouting his praises when he was scoring for fun & guaranteed a goal every game. He does frustrate me at times, but before big jan venegoor's injury he also frustrated & was too quiet in games & very rarely scored, nevermind run with the ball. I'm willing to overlook sammy's "lazyness" because i recon he's got bags of goals in him. Give big jan a run in the team & bring sammy on off the bench see if he can hit form again without the pressure. But must do better!

The guys is one of the worst plyers ive ever saw player for us.....this isnt a knee kerk reaction of todays game. Although I didnt want us to buyt him at the start of the season I did think he proved me wrong with his early season form and I was happy to admit I was wrong but now I think I was right

1. He's slow,can't pass,run,jump,header,tackle.

2. He's about 6ft 2 and jumps about 5ft 9. he's barged off the ball to easy.

3. McDonald is suffering because of him.

4. He hides out the road of the ball and when he has it, he gives it away without a fight.

5. He's a badge kisser, panders to us to make us like him more, wear green boots.

6. His head is in his hands more than the ball at his feet.

 

i like him..paid to score goals and he's been doing that very well this year and some of them were right out of the top drawer,holds the ball up well,links up the play and tracks back and is also very pacy.Although id give Jan a wee run with Skippy for a few games maybe because with his pace as he showed last season he could be a lethal player to bring off the bench.
