Was never in the picture. Martin Jol always talks about breaking into the top 4 so he was a unrealistic signing

 

Looks like he might never come untill he is over 30 atleast he has just signed a five year deal so theres the hope of getting him on a precontract gone out the window.

He'll never come, as Celtic will be too big for him in 5 years time to get a game at 35 or what ever he'd be.

 

Hes 27 atm so he will be 32 when tht contract expires

Would have been happy to see Robbie Keane at Celtic but never believed it was going to happen either. To be fair to him he has had a good run at Tottenham the last couple of years so you can see why he would be happy to sign a new deal with them.

 

didnt want him.... felt his ratio of chances to goals was poor.... reckon he'd have been an expensive version of kenny miller.... but we'll never know....just hope we land a few signings early on and it disnae drag on all summer.

 

I thought that rumour had been dismissed yonks ago.

robbie keane has not had a * game for ireland since he broke record for top scorer, big hess is the man on sat after the game he stood on sideline getting pics with fans in the stand
winning games for celtic means everthing to him
