It inevitably will come up, so I thought I'd be the first to start a thread for him...lol.

Celtic was mentioned in this article about what's next for Keane and they gave it 6/10 probability.

I don't think we need him tbh. I'd rather spend his wages/transfer money on a CB or a target man type striker.

 

He will cost at least £6m and will be 31 by the start of next season,money could be spend better elsewhere.

 

Don't care for him.He'd do well no doubt though,and wouldn't be totally against him as long as he wasn't getting paid ridiculous wages.

 

Don't want him, don't need him. Hooper and Stokes are half the wage and will easily score the same amount of goals, if not more.

if he loves celtic as much as he stated before he would have signed last year , plus he is 31 and on a very high wage and spurs would want at least 6-8 million for him , NO THANKS ! Hope life was great at that bigger club west ham keano eh ?

Accordin to keano Celtic never made an offer for him as spurs were demanding too much. Not his fault at the end of the day.

If he takes a wage cut then yes.

People saying he with cost to much etc. 6mil, not a hope. Spurs will give him away. He has been pants at West Ham and they will try to cut there loses and get him off the wage bill.

 

I'd take Long, Keano or Bothroyd only 1 of them though.

Total waste of money, the club means nothing to him and would only be interested in the wagepacket ....

 

He has proven where his priorities lie... certainly not up here and not in winning trophies either. It's all about the money for Keane.

 

I think a lot of you are extremely unfair on keane, even if he wanted to come to celtic how can he possibly get the spurs board to lower his fee so much that celtic could afford him when they know other epl clubs will pay 5 mill for him.

So you're being very harsh in that assessment of him. Saying that only if he reduced his wage demands would i be looking for keane, i think we still need to remember hes still a very good player, you don't just lose your ability, a move to celtic could bring back confidence.
