Ranger's Future

Discussion in 'TalkCeltic Pub' started by coz_1967, Feb 10, 2006.

  1. A few people have told me that someone is about to make a massive investment into the huns that will 'rock scottish football'.

Would this not be a disaster for us if it turns out to be some Abromovich type guy who is willing to through 100s of millions of his own money into the club? I sure hope it doesnt happen, but it is a good possibility. Just got the feeling somethin big is happening behind the scenes at ibrox.

You'd think Le Guen wouldnt touch that job at hunville unless he's been informed of vast amount of money he will have to play with. Cos theres no way someone of his abillity is going to take on the rangers job if he's got a team full of duds and will only get say a £5 million transfer budget.

  2. Yeah, people were saying that today. Apparently it's T-Mobile wanting to rename the stadium.

  3. That wouldnt be to big a deal. Hope it is somethin like that.

  4. Huns would be quite lucky to get a decent paying sponsorship deal like that.

  5. i think it is mate i heard that on clyde, they say rangers could get 120million thats a * lot a money me think, hope its not true.

They will annouce it after the villareal game. i hope the vermin don't get any money and whoever the investor is pulls out

  6. i heard it was BARRS? the company that make irn-bru

  7. noooo!!! i love irn-bru.. they wouldnt do that 2 me lol!!! but mind u they r orange!!! who cares really? all we need 2 worry about is celtic

  8. i just heard that so it mite be pish!!

    if only irn-bru was green!!

  9. well this imo could work in our favour the board realizing something needs to be done so has DD our major share holder more or less pulls all the strings may realize he needs to spend money to make money and give GS a transfer budget

  10. our chairman is a very rich man in his own right investing in the club would not be a great hardship, having said that if a corporation invested in rangers im sure an other corporation would see the advatages of investing in celtic, its called exploting each other.its been done in the past and it will be done again!
