  1. Yes this lad is still a Celtic player.Bought as a great rising young talent from Motherwell, injury hit seasons very very few appearances for the first team, was loaned to mk dons in January.
Anyone know how he got on at mk dons?

  2. Done well apparently, shame about the injuries though as he'll be behind the likes of Forrest and McGeouch now.

  3. Did he even make an appearance for the first team? I don't remember him doing so. It's a shame he was hit with bad injuries, not sure he would have made it otherwise but it would be good for him to get a shot.

  4. I hope preseason can help him.

He only played his first game in March since around October 2011.

Gutted for him because in the limited appearances I've seen him he was a player with a lot of potential. Quick, game savvy and a natural finisher.

Can't see him fulfilling it now though, he's missed the most crucial years in his development. Shame.

  6. He has ginger hair.

  7. Hes scored more goals in Europe than Scott Brown

  8. Butch's second account? :56:

  9. He got 5 straight sub appearances for the MK Dons in March but then didn't play again the rest of the season so I think you have to assume he picked up another injury.

  10. I watched him when he made a late substitute appearance against Yeovil. I think that he returned to Celtic in April after getting injured.

  11. There's a suprise

The boy's just not going to make it i'm afraid. The injury problems he's having aren't a coinsidence...

  12. Would loan him back to Motherwell.

  13. Don't think it'll happen. My best mate is a Motherwell fan and has similar disgust for Slane's attitude and motives when he moved as a lot of Celtic fans have for Feruz's. Obviously it's one supporter amongst thousands but the long-and-short of it is that they were none too pleased with him when the move materialised.

He's still young but I reckon this season will be make or break. He'll likely be loaned out, but if he keeps getting injured I can see him being offloaded. Never seen the lad so can't comment on his ability but he was very highly rated at Motherwell and in truth probably should've stayed there as he was well on his way to getting games in the first team so I think so it'd have helped his game more than playing youth games for us.

I wouldn't let him anywhere near Motherwell as long as that wee hun * is the manager.

Is Slane still on loan at Partick?

  15. Is he not a bit old to really benefit from a loan move? Loaning him to Partick was strange as well - if he's not playing 1st team football for an SPL side at 21 then he'll never make the cut. Seen him play two or three times for Partick and wasn't that impressed. Plenty of young players at Celtic and in the SPL who I'd be more excited about than Slane.

  16. He's probably injured...

  17. He won't make it.

Not got the right attitude, my mate works in a pub in the town and he's recked in there a lot.

  18. I think he could still make it if he stays healthy, Lennon apparently likes him and we have seen him on the bench a few times before he was loaned

Must be injured or back at us cause he's not even been on their bench since 3rd Nov. Only managed 4 substitute appearances, the longest being a 30 min run out in the Challenge Cup, so doubt he'll be here much longer.

Same goes for Keatings and Toshney tbh. Both coming up for 21 and they've only managed 3 starts each for two struggling teams.
