  1. Did anyone listen to him on Goals on Sunday this morning?

He has no club, yet announces he doesn't want to play in The Championship, wants to play for the highest possible Premiership club and preferably one near his house! :56:

Is this * having a laugh?

He's barely kicked a ball in years, is constantly injured and became a very average player when his pace disappeared.

Absolute waste of space .. THAT Argentina goal was 14 years ago pal. :bbpd:

  2. I dont think he realises hes not as good as he was 10/12/14 years ago.

I bet he still wants £80k+ a week, yet youd be gambling to give him £40k a week considering he might only play 10 games.

Hes averaged 19 games a season over the last 7 years.

  3. If you were out of work, wouldn't you want to work at a well known, successful and high paying company, that was close to your house?

Yeah mate, I'd also like to * out £20 notes and climb off Cheryl Cole every morning, but beggars can't be choosers.

  4. He is going Stoke City just a few bits to sort out over his wages.

  5. Take it he lives at Alton Towers then? :icon_mrgreen:

  6. Would put money on Stoke City but heard a few little bits about Everton

  7. He's better than most of the * in premiership. If i was him I would tell the championship clubs to * off as well.

  8. Pretty sure he grew up an Everton fan ..??

Everton deal is all over Twitter, wouldn't surprise me.

His goal scoring record has allowed him the luxury of picking and choosing his clubs tbh.

  10. Aye that he is

  11. Nothing wrong with what Owen said .

Thinks he is too good for Championship nothing wrong with that.

Close to his house - Does not want to up route his family kids out of schools etc .

Another thing is he will not want to move far from his horse stables .

  12. Yeah or his golden egg plantation.

I don't think he is in any position to be reading out a list of demands and i guarantee wherever he goes he will spend the length of his contract on the treatment table before probably retiring next summer.

  13. Hardly he was fit for a lot of last season just over looked by better players .

  14. All the more reason surely for him to be realistic with his aims?

  15. Well he clearly he is because he looks set for a premiership club. :56:

    Pointless thread.

  16. Feel free to disappear off it then :bbpd:

  17. I watched the interview and he said * all wrong, i feel bad for the guy having his career hampered so much by injuries especially when idiots try and use it as a stick to beat him with as though its his fault.

  18. Not beating the guy up for his injuries, but ultimately he is without a club for a reason.

He's without a club because he's deliberating who to move to next? :56:

There are clearly numerous Premiership clubs after him.
