Max Lowe.

Discussion in 'Transfer Rumours' started by The Thumb, Jun 23, 2019.

  1. The Scottish champions have already held initial talks with English Championship side Derby over their in-demand left-back.

Neil Lennon has a number of left-back options and has inquired whether Lowe would be available on loan or on a permanent basis.

Lowe had a successful season on loan at Pittodrie and they are keen to get him back, while Rangersboss Steven Gerrard has also sounded out Frank Lampard about a possible Ibrox switch.

Lowe’s situation, however, is unlikely to be sorted until Derby know what is happening with their manager, as Lampard is also a target for former club Chelsea.

  3. Would be a decent enough backup option.

  4. Sick of hearing about players that we are supposedly interested in ... but up against competition from Sevco.

We should be shopping in a different market altogether.

Just gives the usual rags fuel for their pish-flow!

Forrest handed him his * on several occasions. Massive no.

  6. For a fee he'd cost a fair bit I'd imagine..

Would be no way worth it for a backup in my opinion..

Lampard sent him straight back out on loan as he didn't rate him. Very poor defender..

  7. You reckon?

I didn’t think they rated him highly seeing as he was at the sheep.

Thought he played Forrest well almost every game.

He literally called Forrest ‘frightening to play against’.

  11. Yep..

They took him back for a look and then he had 1 or 2 howlers at Derby and they sent him straight back to the sheep I'm sure..

England unders international so they'll try and get premium..

I like him, but as is with some of the recent targets, i'd prefer him as a back-up opposed to first choice. Maybe a loan with an option to buy for like 3 million? i doubt derby would take that mind you.

I think he’s a decent attacking full back but wouldn’t pay anything over £1m tbh.

If we are interested then I assume it would be a loan so we could keep cash for other positions.

Again, he'd be a decent option

    That's about it though. Uninspiring

He did, but thought he did well against him. Posted he would be good backup for KT a few times, after playing them.

  16. He’s okay, would have liked him as back up to KT but not as his replacement.

  17. That’s his level ..

  18. Maybe be wrong but I'd be surprised if they sold him at that price..

A loan deal would be half pointless for him..

Would like us to think outside the box a bit more as he's really basic for me..

Don't mind us getting Turnbull but don't want a half spl select, although I know McKenna was rubbished. Far better quality and value elsewhere..
