I am annoyed the Portuguess Polis have only just examined the cuddle cat and if Maddie is dead I blame the media. I know if My Child got snatched I wouldnt want the media to broadcast Her sightings because I know the evil * who Has/Had Maddie would have some form to media be it TV,Newspapers etc so if She is dead I blame the media because to be honest that kind of information shud stay undisclosed only Kate and Gerry shud know if She has been sighted letting us the public know about the sightings is detrimental regarding such a serious case.

Ludicrous. If she is dead blame the evil * who killed her. And maybe her parents for leaving three children alone.

Thats what I kepp saying. I know its a shame that the wee lassie is missing (and lets be honest, probably dead) but I dont understand why her case is so deserving of so much attention

I agree with fiferbhoy and JB. And what's this about holding a service for the 100th day she's been missing. *?!? It's not a special occasion, don't go holding a service, look for her, ffs!

exactly mate....frankly Im sick of hearing about Madeliene McCann. Why are we getting this story shoved down our throat every night? apart from the fact that the parents know how to orgainise a media campaign and milk it to absolute death. Meanwhile Im sure there are dozens of other wee kids missing.... ones that there might actually be a snow balls chance in * of actually finding.

Good point. The amounts of children that go missing from the streets of Rio de Janiero everyday is shocking.

It's a terrible experience for the McCann family and my heart goes out to them. However my heart goes out to the millions of families whose loves one's go missing without anyone seeming to care.

Poor lassie and all, but thousands of kids go missing every day around the world and not an eyebrow is raised. It's no coincidence that her parents are white, upper-middle class with high paying jobs. They even had billboards on the EPL games, as if people aren't aware she is missing.

Do you think this story would run and run if the girl was from a council estate? No.

The media like to milk things. How about reporting on the dozens of kids getting mutilated and murdered in Iraq daily. Or is that not newsworthy enough...

It's shocking how they're trying to blame the police.

"In America, if a child goes missing a report is done in 2 hours. Maybe if Europeans were like that"

Naw pal, you dont leave a wee wean in a FOREIGN country ALONE in the bedroom while you go for a booze with ur wife.

Obviously it's a shame and terrible but I, like many others, feel it's being milked a bit...

with in 2 hours, well, mr/mrs you left her alone for a 1/4 of that time. "maybe if you's weren't like that..."

They were having a meal in a restaurant ON SITE AND ONLY YARDS AWAY. I'm not condoning it but don't make it worse than it was.

Surely after 100 days of this girl missing you cant seriously still be going on about this.
