Of the so called Celtic supporters who are giving Neil Lennon stick.

The same Neil Lennon who continues to do the job he loves despite public attacks at football grounds, death threats, bullets in the post and bombs being sent to him.

The same manager who would have won the title last season if this poxy country we play in had fair referees!

And this is how 'the greatest fans in the world' repay him.

MON once went 3 games without a win, were we calling for his head?

    No.

    And why?

    Celtic legend, that's why.

Just as Neil Lennon is a Celtic legend.

He's also a man who has been through more than most, however 'the best fans in the world' quickly forget this after a sticky spell.

Yes, we lost to st johnstone and yes we're out of Europe does that mean we call for the managers head?

    No, it does not!

What football has taught us is that stability is key to success.

And let us not forget that this is the same manager that everyone was so desperate to support only a few weeks ago.

Why should that change after only 3 games?

Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion but NO Celtic supporter is entitles to act like a hun!

The change we need is on the pitch! We need greater investment in the team, it's something we've been crying out for long enough and something Lenny has been wanting as well - another CB and a ST.

If you want to vent your frustration at anyone aim it at the board who refuse to sanction the spending the manager and fans would love to see.

But for now, support the manager and players who deserve your support!

This is the time when Lenny needs us most. We backed him consistently before, when we were winning all of our matches in the SPL in that great spell back in January-April, but now that he's had a few bad results, the true colours of some of our "supporters" are shining through. It's the board's fault for not giving him money, plain and simple.

So your saying lennons tactics, team selections, substitutions have been spot on?? I personally dont want him to go, but he needs to take a good long hard look at himself in the mirror and ask himself is he up to the job.

The same people who want him out are probably the same people who sit down silently during matches and complain when others stand up.

We all know he's up to the job. Sometimes it's just not your day, as was the case with st johnstone - how many chances would we have put away any other day? And as for the penalty, we were all urging Commons to take them and as soon as he does he changes his style & run up and fluffs it!

After that we lose a deflected goal after a foul on one of our defenders!

Yes, the hfa are still playing our part but combine that with some bad luck and it just doesn't happen.

Re Sion, home game, they have 11 behind the ball. Away we're down to 10 men after 1 minute and face a near impossible task!

    Get over it!

Move on to the next game!

And support the team & manager no matter what!

ashamed , iam ashamed of the performance of the team ,i hate the way we play in europe ,rabbits caught in spotlights always ,its not even decent teams that are embarrassing us now .

were from here ,the wind has gone from the sails ,spl means * now after our clubs didnt even make it in ,we are so frustrating to watch ,no pace wot so ever in attacking , and we do have players with pace ,we are slow and predictable .

Agreed and that bunch of arm folding, Charlie Chaplin * do my head in!

If you have no passion and no desire to lend your voice to supporting the team then why go in the first place!

IMO Celtic could take a leaf out of Tony Fernandes book and reduce match prices which would allow the working man and his family to turn up at CP at every opportunity - that's when the thunder comes back!

Someone recently said what about the return of the old 'brew book' turnstyle (sorry for not knowing the letters and numbers involved)

Perhaps we could but perhaps we should go for a flat fee for games and let kids in for next to nothing...

If it fills the stadium with people who are glad to be there and who will sing their hearts out for 90 minutes, like we used to in the Jungle and in the Celtic end, then go for it!

It can only be a good thing if it spurs us onto victory!

No and Lenny has already said he'll take the flack but FFS it's only 3 games and it's at the start of the season not at the business end of the season when we really need the points!

Yes the gaffer will take it on the chin and move onto the next game and tonights result will make him even more determined to win the league - if that was even possible.

But some of the criticism levelled at him has been beyond harsh!

We need to remember that we are Celtic supporters!

And there's a reason why we have been called the 'best fans in the world'

    It's time to show that!

People are just upset. Once we wake up tomorrow most of us will have calmed down and will see clearly again.

Yep great post mate. He is a young manager and still learning, he will learn from his mistakes and I hope he will come good in the end, but there might be some more heartbreaks on the horizon as Lenny tries to hone his new managerial skills. Im still prepared to give him a couple of seasons at least to become a great manager. Hes basicly like a YTS newbie in the managerial world, A YTS newbie gets 2 years training on the job to learn his trade. ( its a * example but you know what i mean LoL ). All great managers take time to become good great managers. They also learn the hard way through their mistakes and past experiences etc.
