Ki

  1. No. Of course there are clean tacklers who do it well. I'm just asking you, what would your reaction be, if this happened after Ki tried too hard in becoming a better grafter? Answer as a fan, or put yourself in NL's position.

  2. thats means next to nothing about athletiscism though. athletiscism is speed, agility, and leaping ability, it has nothing to do with what you look like.

  3. Tbf ki has had alot more game time than commons.

  4. That is why he is scared of hurting someone. He had some very risky tackles. I believe he is afraid that one of such tackles might seriously harm a player.

  5. My reaction would be the same if one of these "clean tacklers" you speak of put in the same tackle - I'd be gutted for the opposing player - but this is a contact sport.....you can't just have an airy-fairy attitude of being scared to tackle someone incase you hurt them..........dear me, that's like my good self saying I'm scared of fighting the world heavyweight champion incase i put him in a wheelchair!

    :87:

  6. Not being funny here pal, but do you know Ki personally? :97:

  7. this is just an assumption though

  8. Fighting sports and football aren't comparable in terms of contact intensity. But it seems you are with a similar attitude like Kennydal. But know that a more combative Ki would mean more cards for him as well.

  9. Are you aware of the meaning of sarcasm?

  10. An outlandish assumption at that!

  11. I only know that you tried to compare fighting sports with football. It looks that way to me.

I know his personality. All those funny Twitter pictures show he's a nice guy who likes humor. Koreans as a people are honorable, and don't play dirty. So, the existence of the aforementioned fear seems logical to me.

  12. I'm sorry pal, but now you are just being plain old ridiculous.....

So, because you deduce from Ki's twitter pics that he is a nice jokey person, that automatically means he is scared to tackle people incase he breaks someone's legs?

Heard it all now:87: And...that part about Koreans being honorable people - that's a slightly stereotypical view there.

    On that note......goodnight :50:

  13. Compare his reaction when a scuffle happens with the reactions of Brown, Kayal or Wanyama. Who's the least vicious? Does he ever fight for the right to take a free kick?

    That is probably his problem.

He needs to toughen up if he has ambition of playing in England never mind becoming a first pick for the hoops.

Very rarely is a player so unbelievably gifted that he can get away without engaging in the physical side of the game, even his hero Gerrard has to get stuck in for the right to play his attacking game.

  15. Either that, or playing with a dedicated DM to cover for him. He would be happiest that way. But, it is not looking likely that he will be able to forgo the dirty parts of the game. I can remember a nasty tackle on Laffable. Why doesn't he do it more? Best bet is to ask him, but I reckon he'd say that he doesn't like potentially injuring opponents with his uncontrolled tackles, and getting cards.

  16. If ki is scared to tackle then he shouldn't be playing. Simple.

  17. That makes it as if tackling is the absolute most important thing in football. I disagree. Even if his tackling issues do not go away, Ki still has useful qualities to stay in the team. At least to fluctuate between 1. team and the bench.

  18. It's one of the most vital parts of the game for a centre mid. Especially in old firm games most games are won from the midfield battle.

Look at the difference from the ibrox game the youngster mccabe controlled it with ki playing. I don't think he got a touch of the ball on Sunday.

  19. Lubo and Naka weren't central players who were played immediately in front of the defense, if Ki were a winger no one would expect him to tackle..
