    1. Kayal.
    2. Ledley.
    3. Brown.
    4. Wanyama.
    5. Ki.

Get him bumped, spend the money on a cheaper replacement and on other areas such as signing FF and a striker or CB.

I don't think Ki suits scottish football if im honest.... I'd only play him at Celtic Park as he obviously thrives on getting space and time. Not strong or aggressive enough for the wee itty gritty games like Motherwell away, Certainly isn't for Ibrox eiher.

Would be happy to sell him on in the summer.

    Ki plays * - takes a pounding

Ledley plays * - very little abuse.

Nobody's gonna tell me Ledley's the better player out of these two.

Ledley and Ki are the poorest combination of CMs we have btw.

Ledley is player of the year for me.

    Very consistent.

as others in this thread have already said the difference is that Ledley rarely plays * while Ki usually doesn't show up for big games and any game where he is put under pressure. Ledley is the far better midfielder in my opinion, an opinion which I feel safe saying is shared by the vast majority of the Celtic support.

Ledley plays left back. Not his position not by a mile. He plays left wing so lennon can fit ki into the team. Where he doesnt work hard enough. While ledley is out on the wing out Out of the game. Ki is a waste of * space. Ledley should be in the middle for hos workrate keeping up the pressure like he does alOngside kayal. Why people are so pro ki ill never know. The sooner we punt him the better !! Ledleys ten times he player ki is. Ki is not good enough and should never EVER be choice ahead of ledley.

Kayals a starter imo. Samaras is ideal for certain games where he has space to run. Like against st mirren he was no use because the played so deep he doesnt do well. Forrest need to toughen up i think hes still young but his pace etc causes all sorts of problems. We have a good team lennon has to make the right choices.

Also commons should be a serious contender for a start we know whats he is capable of.

agree about commons, but not sure kayal should get a start, even if he is fit, would like to see forest on the teamsheet every game an get his confidence and fitness up.

    Agree 100%

    That is our best MF.

We were so dominant in that line-up and the football was great as well.

This season has been poor IMO, despite the winning run.

Really want to see Commons and Izzy on the left again.

Brilliant natural partnership.:50: A fit Commons in inclined to cut and and shoot which drags the right-back out of position and allows Izzy to overlap into very dangerous positions. This also works better with Wilson as opposed to Matthews on the other side because it allows us to pin teams back. When this happens, Commons has even more licence to cut in and basically fill the gap between midfield and up front. Of course, for this same reason, Forrest is probably better playing in front of Matthews, whilst Brown is better suited to playing with Wilson. Thing is, with Izzy being injured, we haven't really been able to gauge the particular balance of that one in the big games this season. I love Sammy and he's playing great but you won't get the best out of Izzy with Sammy in front of him because he won't overlap him. Also Sammy is more inclined to run with the ball as opposed to pass or shoot ala Commons.

My ideal team (basic 442 for ease):

    ........................Forster

    Wilson.......Rogne........Mulgrew.......Izzy

    Brown.......Kayal..........Ledley........Commons

    ...............Hooper........Stokes

If you chose to play Forrest, then I'd play Matthews for the aforementioned sake of balance. Big Vic is great to have anywhere in CM or CD so that's easy. If you go for Sammy at LM instead of Commons, then you still play Izzy anyway simply as he's a better LB than Mulgrew and Ledley - however, don't expect his dynamic bursts up the sideline. Of course, if you play Sammy instead of Stokes then Commons comes back in, and Izzy goes back to doing his marauding LB bit. But then you break up Stooper.......ah, tactics!:43::84:

As for Ki....I'd only really use him when the chips are already up or the opposition are short/weak in midfield.

I can't believe there are people who don't rate Ledley and think he should be sold, he's been one of our better performers who covers every inch of ground and tracks runners, covers for people getting forward etc.

They are in the vast minority. You'll notice those slating him do so when trying to stick up for another player, thinking because Ledley goes about his business in an unfussy manner that he is doing nothing.

Ledley has been the man this season, we are a much better side with him in it.

Difference being that Super Joe has stood up and been counted for the leather belts on many an occasion, you'll rarely if ever find him hiding. That's before we go on to the fact that he is POTY material this season.

You just cannot say the same for Ki.
