CELTIC have made a move for Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012-bound midfielder Keith Andrews.
The Parkhead club have held talks with the out-of-contract West Bromwich Albion star and rough financial figures package have been discussed.

Andrews, who is in the Republic’s Euro 2012 squad, has been offered a new deal at the Hawthorns but Lennon believes he can convince him to swap the English Premier League for the SPL and Champions League football.

The 31-year-old moved from Blackburn to West Brom on a short-term deal in January but the other added complication is that Roy Hodgson who signed him has since moved on to take up the England job.

Andrews started his career with Wolves and also spent time at Blackburn, MK Dons and Hull, as well as having loan spells with the likes of Stoke and Ipswich Town.

Celtic are also keen to sign Matt Mills from Championship side Leicester City
Celtic also have an interest in West Bromwich Albion striker Simon * but no official contact has been made between the clubs.

Lennon’s main target remains Jordan Rhodes at Huddersfield Town but the Hoops have still to table an official bid – as West Ham and Swansea are also hovering.

Celtic are also keen to sign Matt Mills from Championship side Leicester City. Lennon wants to land the former Reading centre half who is surplus to requirements at the Walker’s Stadium.

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson also wants Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson and talks on a swap deal are on-going, although there is still a possibility that Mills could move north in a loan switch.

Don't need him, so don't want him. He is a better player than he is being made out to be though imo.

As has been said, he is crap. And we have 5 centre mids who are better and younger than him.

He is nothing like mcculloch? Saying he's pish is a bit harsh, but we don't need him.
