  1. Hope he fares better than our last Mexican international.

Sounds like what we need, athough I'm a little puzzled as to why he'd come on loan here.

Would seriously hope we have an option to buy if this is true. I hate loan deals without them in all honesty.

  5. He looked good on the WC. I want him bought, not loaned.

  6. heard this the other night his girl friends family all celtic mad

  7. He played all season for a la liga club that finished 6th. Could be decent then.

  8. I'd just get him and Atsu in on loan for the rest of the qualifiers and then spend if we need to if we make the group stage.

  9. Sounds like a decent player.

Yes please, hopefully it would be a loan with the option to buy.

Looked the part at the WC when I saw him play and seems to have played regularly for a good Villarreal team.

Why are they loaning him out if he is an important member of the team?

  12. Obviously got somebody better in or they rate somebody better than him

I wonder why they not want him as back up. I have seen many of these loan moves offer so much but deliver so little. We seem to have more success recently with cheaper purchases from lesser leagues.

I briefly remember him in the world cup, he is absolutely * flying. 5ft 5 so hopefully (if he signs) he is fast enough to get away from the Scottish dumpling defenders we come up against.

    Irish bird. Sign him.:56:

  16. Looks fast, get him in.

  17. Is she really? Is that where the Celtic daft family rumour is coming from..

Good player, fast as * and played 44 games in his first season in Europe with villareal , which begs the question why are they selling him..
Looks and out and out winger, running and terrifying defences, would come in handy when trying to get up the pitch in Europe..

A loan to buy would be sensible business at this point,.it's worked well with big lurch and.sammy in the past..

    Yes from me..

    Appears so!

I'm all for this, I remember now that he came on against Brazil and the first thing he looked to do was take on the full back. Bit of directness and pace is needed.

The thing with players who have such great pace is that defenders are very wary of coming up against them. Doesn't matter how good the defender is they won't want to leave space for the guy to run into.

As you say a loan is not the worst idea. If he settles here then I am sure there will be a buy option..the negotiators at the club ain't stupid...I don't think.:56:
