1. for those of you whove heard of him, youl probably agree hes the best, truest hiphop artist of all time

for those of you who havent, listen to this first JUST LISTEN TO THE LYRICS

now heres some info about the man himself,

Felipe Coronel, better known as Immortal Technique, is a Hip hop MC and political activist. He is of Afro-Peruvian and Indigenous descent and was raised in Harlem, New York. Most of his lyrics focus on political issues. The views expressed in his lyrics are largely a mixture of commentary on issues such as poverty, religion, and racism. He also focuses on the harsh resulting realities of crime in the housing projects of New York City's slums.
Although he has been offered a deal with at least one major record label,[1][2] he has never signed to any. Immortal Technique has voiced a desire to keep control over his production, and has made statements in his music that he is very aware that it is record companies, not the artists themselves, who profit the most from mass production and marketing of music.

my fave songs include
dance with the devil
obnoxious
blackout
point of no return

great motivational music, great for the gym aswell.

THE MAN IS A LYRICAL GENIUS - HE EXPRESSES HIS VIEWS THRU HIS SONGS.

2. Stopped reading there. All I have to say is LOL

3. sounds like me in the bedroom

4. i think the multimedia thread is calling you...

lol

5. immortal technique speaks raw political truth...as does braintax.

6. i thinks its *

if you want good political music look at a lot of music from the 60's and 70's such as the doors or black sabbath (war pigs) or even simon and garfunkel

7. *? hardly....that definitely wasn't one of his best tunes tho. This is better..

... as does Semtex!! :icon_mrgreen:

9. still bad music IMO but then again who is anybody to judge music (unless its some x factor type person)

10. I suppose politics ain't for everyone.

12. nothin to do with politics, i just think the music itself is *

13. oh well to each is own.

14. He's good, but I do get sick of the kids that discover him and then start telling people how he's the best ever. His breath control is awful, and most of what he talks about is psuedo-intellectual conspiracy theory toss. Much better than Black Sabbath though lol

Have to laugh at some of the conspiracy * you hear in raps though. Papoose said something about Bush showing up in Georgia with his dog, and was he "indirectly trying to call [black people] dogs". Pathetic.

15. :47:

I started listening to immortal tech years ago now before all the "kids" jumped on the bandwagon, before any albums and just after he released his first track..."reality check".

I don't listen to that mainstream hip POP crap so I wouldn't know about papoose' crazy theories. I wouldn't be surprised if hes purposely trying to divert his listeners from the real conspiracies.

16. i think hip hop has gone to * because it used to be real, guys like dre and ice cube used to rap about their experiences and childhood, now its all about how great you are and how much money you have

17. Wouldn't call hi mainstream, I don't think the boy even has an album.

Divert listeners from the real conspiracies? Believe me, some of Technique's stories might impress me, if I was twelve.

18. immortal technique has a new fan i enjoyed that

19. mainstream/corporate rap isterrible..i don't even class that as hip hop. dre and snoop talked alot of immature * too. glamourising gangs/guns/psostitution etc. who wants to hear about that evil *..kids? try listening to some positive or educational rap.
