We are rumoured to be looking at the young Man City winger who is out of contract in the summer.

Leeds are after him, our name probably thrown in as it's a young City player.

Leeds are among the clubs tracking Manchester City winger Ian Poveda, 19, who is out of contract in the summer and also has interest in Italy from Torino and Parma.

Poveda is a winger or attacking midfielder who was born in London to Colombian parents and had spells with Chelsea, Arsenal, Brentford and Barcelona academies.

He joined City after Brentford’s academy closed down and is an England U20’s international.

Poveda made his first team debut a year ago when he appeared in City’s EFL Cup semi final win over Burton Albion.

He trains regularly with City’s first team squad but with six months left on contract they are willing to let him go now.

Played a bit with frimpong on the right.

 

Good player, raw in terms of decision making and consistency but has a lot of pace and bags of tricks, would get bums of seats and * off shelves.

 

Some blogger saying we have been offered to take him on a free .....would imagine a sell on clause is involved
