I'm * astonished reading quite a few of these posts. Hutton is total gash, he's not even good enough for a Hibs or Aberdeen never mind us.

 

why would he have moved to Spurs for 8 million then? have you watched him any time recently?

 

cos the same people who had shares in the huns (ENIC) also had shares in Spurs and done anything they could to get money out of them.

He played fairly regularly on loan for Sunderland last season and was very impressive but they couldn't afford to keep him at the price Redknapp wanted and he's been excellent for Scotland for a while now.

Thats exactly what I'm saying. He was a joke figure even at Rangers up until the last 6 months or so he was there, failed miserably at Spurs, got dropped by Sunderland (who only wanted him as a squad player anyway) as soon as someone else got fit, and he is poor for Scotland at best. He lacks basic attributes of defending and has a highly suspect temprerment.

In all my life following football this is still to this day the most bizarre transfer I have ever known. He did not even want to go to Spurs and I would be amazed if it was not ENIC who forced the deal.
