Dudu Dahan

What is the story with this guy and Celtic? Over the past few years he's been involved in so many transfers with us with this Nigerian fullback being the next in line.

Kayal, Ambrose, Bitton, Gershon, Balde, Scepovic (I might even be missing some out) all have him as their agent.

Is there something a little dodgy going on or is this just normal in football?

 

He gets us good price.

I don't think it's dodgy. We buy players from that region because no one else is really competing, the wages are decent and the quality is not too bad (arguably). Dahan deals in that region so we have a relationship with him. I'd imagine as he has managed to get players out of Israeli teams and into Celtic loads of players from there will want to sign up with him and as such he has the pick of the best.

 

Don't see why anything would be dodgy, it's been obvious for years we only shop in certain markets and Dudu happens to represent a lot of players in one we frequently visit.

He seems to have a good relationship with the club which isn't something you see much with agents so if that's the case long may the relationship continue

 

Obviously he has good contacts and has a good relationship with the club that suits all parties..

Maybe we go down that route a tad too much but I'm not majorly bothered. For every poor signing (balde), we'll find a kayal, who was just a quality player unfortunate with his career here..

 

I understand we go down the route these days of trying to find 'diamonds in the rough' from lesser known football leagues but even at that Israel is a bit obscure. It's a bit strange we keep going to this guy despite the dubious quality of some of his clients.

Bitton is/was highly rated but the rest were sort of run of the mill players or yer 'raw' types like Balde.

It's pretty obvious Balde and Dahan are linked in some way. They've been pictured together at Celtic, that Belgian team and now Hapoel Tel-Aviv.

 

Balde is registered with Scoutpush... is that not ran by Dudu Dahan ?

As Papa Legba posted, Balde is registered with Dahan's agency. I haven't heard or read anything about Balde and any court tbh.

The second picture I posted was them in Tel-Aviv this month so they still have some sort of professional relationship.
