  1. Yea that was class.

Highly recommend " in search of the suger man" About a musician who never made it big in the states but was huge in South Africa ( unbeknown to him).

Documentary follows a South African guy trying to find out what happened to the musician Sixto Rodriguez. Some good twists and turns, pretty inspiring movie.

  2. i agree its a great watch! i only found out after the movie he played in my town last year would have loved to have seen him play

  3. The Diana Tapes...these people live on a different planet...different rules...scary:icon_mrgreen:

  4. "Kids behind bars", as the title says, it's about imprisoned children around the world. Interesting to see how they live in English, American, Mongolian, Georgian etc. prisons and contrast between them.

  5. In The Shadow Of The Moon is a documentary about the Apollo missions and is one of the most humbling films I've ever seen.

The only narration comes from interviews with the astronauts themselves.

  6. Seems a bit out of plac after seeing some of the ultra-serious suggestions and discussions in this thread, but * it, here's one about GTA :56:

  7. Ones already mentioned like the Vice one about Liberia and The Two Escobars.

Zeitgeist, Louis Theroux makes some really good ones, can't remember any other ones at the moment but some more should come to me eventually.

  8. The Devil Came On Horseback it's about an ex marine who is a peace accord observerer in Sudan,he then get sucked into the Darfur conflict and has to watch the genocide on a daily basis and is powerless even though he has the African Union troops with him,be warned though it is some of the worst images and accounts of systematic abuse I've heard or seen, how bad is humanity that can stand back and allow this to happen :54:

  9. The world at war is amazing if you have even the slightest interest in WW2. Think it is about 25 episodes & covers everything.

These suggestions are my all time favourite documentaries.

"The Kid stays in the picture"

    "Searching for Sugarman"

Have a watch you will not be disappointed.

  12. Loose Change I've seen it a good few times, each time taking in a little more info but how anyone cannot see 9/11 wasn't an inside job is beyond me

  13. Weight Of Chains, documentary about the break up of Yugoslavia and all the U.S. and E.U. lies and war mongering to get their banks and business's into the countries.Seen it a while ago,i remember it making me quite angry about the way the west portrayed the war at the time. This is a Canadian Docu so very neutral.
