Boruc

Artur Boruc is, in my opinion, Celtic's greatest ever 'keeper.

But he has been pretty average this season hasn't he?

A bit Rab Douglas?

He and Scot MacDonald seem to have been on the same pork pie diet.

 

sorry buddy but you cant put rab and artur in the same sentence,the diffrence is night and day even on his best day rab is nowhere near him on a bad day lol

 

I know what you mean, but we have, for years, watched the huns rely on their keepers, be it that *, Klos, or the new one and it is only in the last 3 years that we have had a better one.

Rab could stop a shot an dat he moent that is all that Artur is doing. Evidently he dropped a howler for Poland last week as well.

he has been shocking this season to be honest. He seems overweight and un-interested anymore. Whether it's the problems he is having in his personal life or just isnt interested anymore, i don't know.

 

the problem with boruc is like all players you need to be pushed to keep you on your toes,or you just get complacent.

 

His worst season so far propably...

ffs this keeps getting better. for one putting rab douglas and boruc in the same sentence is a joke and 2 saying hes average, have you even seen any games this season ffs

 

His head has been all messed up this season our best keeper we had in years but everyone has a bad game or to, but he still comes up with some cracking saves still one of the best goalkeepers in europe.

 

IMO he did all he could to save that free kick if you look at the replay of the freekick, you see Boruc saving it towards the right handside but the ball hit off of his chest and went straight out to Berbatov.

second goal was unfortunate. Tbh he has had a decent deason so far, the only game he has really * up in was the rangers game

 

This is the time Artur needs our support. He's been untouchable for three years, this is his shaky part but even at that his shaky part included against Villareal which was a great performance.

Heard rumours of problems at home messing up his head?

 

He's the best goalkeeper I've seen at Celtic in the 20+ years I've watched the Hoops.

BUT....

He has been rank rotten this season so far. Howler after howler, including the biggest goalkeeping no-no at Celtic...chucking in goals against Rangers, something which was very Rab Douglas esque.

The only reason he gets away with it is because he plays to the fans. I don't know if it's a question of fitness or his head messed up, but whatever it is he needs to sort it out ASAP.

He is still as good a goalkeeper as we could ever hope to have, and the only benefit of his recent wobbles is that interest in him from the Premiership might not be as strong.

He's just going through a bad patch, as every keeper does at some stage. Start of the season (and at times last year too) Van Der was past it and useless having made a mistake 2 games in a row. It happens.

Robinson is another - had a horror show, has moved on and now looks good again.

We should just count ourselves lucky that when he IS on form, he STILL doesn't look like a * train wreck - (Calamity James).

 

he's had a few howlers so what. still class keeper and we should stick by and support him

note - he's in the shortlist for european keeper of the year. sure he wont win it but it shows he is regarded as one of the best. even the best go through bad spells

 

are you mad! boruc and rab! of course you are mad and yes he is the best ever goalie celtic has ever had

 

What happend to Cervi ? We were set to sign him but no word on him for a month or so
