he was class, and u could c in his face how proud and excited, and priveliged he was to do that, it must of been a dream come true. i think its really nice that he got to do it, and that rod stuart must b rather jealous! but theres always nxt year rod...

Nothing wrong with Connoly being given the privalage to do so. Connoly said nothing, you got the wrong end of what he was trying to say.

just felt billy connelly was the wrong person after what he said last year about wishing thed just kill that guy held captive in iraq. i thought he was brill but after that he went down in ma estimation i feel smeone like rod would have been better

thought Billys speech was great ,i personally dont care what he says about other issues ..This bloke has made day to day life part of his act for longer than some of you have been on this planet...The bloke is a Legend and is as much a celtic fan as you & I ...why did they call him Billy though ??
