  1. I dont know about you guys but I really love this clubs story.Theres a really good spirit within the club when you see them on SSN painting the stadium, imo its just magic.:50:

    Thoughts?

  2. Neat I am not a fan of any English team but these guys look great. I cant believe they started in 2002 and are in the Football League

How the English FA have the nerve to have a go at FIFA, when they sanctioned this, is a joke, one of the biggest disgraces in football

  10. What's going on?

  11. After the flooding and appearance of a massive sinkhole AFC Wimbledon are really struggling to say the least. Someone has started a fundraising page to raise £50,000 and the last I saw it was at £115,000. These are the Scottish Clubs that have donated

Celtic, along with four other Scottish clubs, including Aberdeen, St. Mirren, Forfar, and Dunfermline, generously donated to the cause

  12. Love AFC Wimbledon. Have a couple of their jerseys. It says alot about MK, that they wont drop "Dons" from their name to be continually antagonisic. Should continue to be ostracized from the wider football community until they do that.

Good to see Wimbledon get the old Wimbledons history and trophies back. Got the promotions to get to where they were, that MK didnt want to, to be fast tracked into the Football League. A horrible little club, who I wish nothing but misfortune to, well as long as they continue to use "Dons" in their name!

Think Wimbledon pumped MK 3-0 when they played each other in the league early on this season.

Just recently visited the new ground and it is a lovely ground. A great family stand too. Hope they continue to do well.

  16. So who do the old Wimbledon fans typically support? Was there a fairly equal split between the MK Dons and AFC Wilbledon, or are MK Don fans a new bunch from a new area?

  17. I chipped in £20 when they started again. Then they bugged me for years lol...but joking aside what happened to them was * so I always keep an eye out for their results. I'd like to catch a game sometime

  18. New fans from the new area, they hate each other!

  19. I only knew 2 Wimbledon fans as a kid. 1 was a lassie and the other supports Millwall. The latter used to tell me about his early away days to the likes of Ewood Park in the EPL days and they'd have about 25 fans there who all knew each other :giggle1:

Wimbledon had a decent catchment area from Tooting to Sutton and all around the Merton area like Cheam/Morden/Mitcham etc but have always been overwhelmingly Chelsea area's. Small support and more a second team for many I'd imagine..

MK Dons came up from a London overspill town in Milton Keynes but a nothing club where again Milton Keynes will be flooded with Spurs and Arsenal fans..

I'd say Wimbledon comfortably have a better support. The average attendances might be fairly similar though considering Wimbledon play out the way in Kingston I think? And MK Dons play in the centre of a massive town with no big clubs near..
