Well I excpected that we will come back home with an easy earned victory,but that's football.Bhoys played well and they didn't deserve this.But we had many missed chances and our realisation was very poor.For all you who think that Samaras is guilty,you must remaind yourself that he was injured.What about Nakamura?He missed two or three chances!They had more luck than us and that's it! Aalborg is not better than Celtic!!Bhoys must focus now on league and destroying Huns!

Aalborg have no world class players either, we have been in the Last 16 twice the two seasons previous, where were Aalborg.

National Teams arent a valid comparison for club sides!!

The Scottish League is superior to the Danish League though, you have nothing to prove otherwise. One result doesnt prove * either before you try to use it.

 

How you can say that?!?Scottish league is ten times better than Dannish,and Scotland will be great favourite against Denmark!!!!Aalborg is a team of old players,and Celtic have many better YOUNG players than Aalborg have in first team!!!!!!!

 

Strachan is to blame.

Gordon Strachan is to blame for the defeat to Allborg. He has persisted with a defence that has been woefully inadequate since he came to the club. Whether you like Bobo or not he is better than the guys that are getting a game regularly. Why buy Loovens if he is not better than what you already have? He doesn't he consider O'Dea! Stephen McManus will never make a captain till his dying day, I have yet to see or here make any decisions on the park. These are Strachan's decisions and that's why he is to blame.

 

HAIL HAIL from Denmark,I am a Celtic fan now living in Denmark.I was lucky or some might say unlucky to get two tickets for the game the other night.This was the first game I took my 12 yr old boy too,he was born in Denmark ,but is made on all things green and white.He sang all the way threw the game and didn't take his eyes of his heros on the pitch.At the end of the game he cryed his eyes out with sadness.I turned to him and said ,don't worry it's just the Celtic way,they make you feel great and now and again they will break your heart.We may now live far away from Celtic park now,but mine and my Darnish Bhoys heart will always follow the Hoops. We drove all the way from Denmark to Scotland,just to go on the tour,he was so Happy.So guys look forward now,the pain will go and lets make it 4 in a row....HAIL HAIL

Strachan didnt get wrong at all, Samaras missed 2 sitters and Nakamura missed another in the first half, if our players took those easy chances, we would have won easily.

The players have to take the blame for that defeat, not the manager

 

Mate your * team won the game through us not burying you,s in the first half and your team created * all and were playing for a draw and are by far the worst team we have faced in years!!!! The fact is not 1 of your players would get in to our first team. Your club were all in the papers been confident as * then came out on the park and we bossed it big time missed numerous chances while you guys get 1 shot on goal in the first half from the corner and the next chance you,s get is a half chance, fluke goal but you can have your 15 mins a glory and i will look forward to meeting your club in europe again, That will be a while right enough since your team are 7th in the danish league. guarentee mate the next round of the uefa cup will be your last round

Doesnt hide the the fact that we are seriously bad. A half decent team would have put them away by half time and to answer the above question Boruc the goalie is world class. Name us even a championship level player in the Aalborg team ?

 

Bottom line is you can boss a team for 92 mins and if you dont score and the other team scores>> then ultimately you lose the game, We should have been in the dressing room at half time out of site but we didnt take our chances in front of goal!!!! imo celtic would have at least made it to the quarter,s of the uefa if they went in to it>>>> On the other hand aalborg will play an away game and 1 home game then it,s bye bye,s :bbpd: Hope you get zenit in the draw mills

 

You havent got any world class players in your squad pal Our local * teams stadium is also bigger and better than at we poofy stadium a yours

 

Artur Boruc at his best, is capable of playing for any club.

I'd even argue same goes for Nakamura. If players like Park Ji-Sung and Seydou Keita can play for the 2 best teams in the world, Nakamura can.

i didn't want to speak of the result on Tues for a while. as, like most people, when you speak too early afterwards you say things in the heat of the moment.

we all know we should of been pushing for second place from the begining, with the parachute of 3rd place. but we failed.

the only reason why we have failed this time is due to lack of luck that nearly every team that qualifys for the last 16 has encountered.

we missed a pen in the opening game against Aalborg, Villareal scored from a freekick that should never of been, Man Utd scored with 4mins to go and we missed so many chnces against Aalborg away and they scored with a deflection and a fluke of an own goal.

the only result that we deserved to get was the Man Utd loss and arguably the Man Utd draw.

congrats Aalborg. did you deserve it? * no. but when has that ever meant anything in football?

oh, and to the tormentor Mills, theres such a thing as a bad winner. please don't complain that Scotland has a poor national team and league as we are ranked higher than you in both areas. Boruc is truely world class and i, like many other people in Europe, couldn't even name one of your players.

 

Sorry but I don't buy into all this "Luck" bullshit.

You make your own luck and the players on the pitch are there to do a job. You want to start slagging Allborg off about how good they are, fine....the fact remains they won the game, we didn't. It's a sad day when a Celtic side who are Champions of Scotland and who, a year ago got to the last 16 of the CL have to start blaming luck, refs and substitutions to mask the fact...we were simply not good enough to do the job correctly.

20+ away defeats in the CL is NOT down to luck. Lack of ability, class, quality...call it what you will, but it has * all to do with luck in the overall picture!

We drastically need to improve...as can also be seen after today's game!

 

It all comes down to the players on the pitch who put us out of Europe! i am not a big fan of wee Gordon BUT look what he has done for celtic much beta than MON

The manager canny take the blame at all for the performance that night if samaras and naka decided to put the ball in the net and not make a complete hack of the situation!

where is the competition in scotland..... there isnt any unless you call " Rangers " real competition we need to get in better players who can handle the pressure, situation and big nights in europe at the moment we dont have too many players who can do a lot in europe!!!

 

strachan must shoulder the blame for the schoolboy defending that led to both their goals. take a leaf from every team in the SPL that comes to celtic park and sets up two rows of four to defend against us. we were shambolic at the back. caldwell had a good game in midfield but we missed him at the back, he would have at least looked up before hitting the ball of his team mate.

 

Six words sum it up, flukey Danish *, injured Celtic strikers.
