union ja*k at celtic park?

me and some of my friends had a debate today about a "union jack" being at celtic park up beside the champions flag on the roof.they were all saying yes to it and i wasn't having it and was 99.9 % shure there wasn't , but its just too make shure and if any of you fellow tims could back me up that would be great ,thanks

 

i would hate to see union jack a parkhead and i know it would never happen about from maybe at common wealth games when celtic park are having the opening ceremnoy are the queen etc not usually at these types of events

Why not? We are a British club, we always remind everyone we were the first British club to win the European Cup, so it’s hypocritical to remind everyone of that fact then deny we are British.

Ad we nearly got relegated for refusing to take it down decades ago, but our chairman stuck to his guns and it was allowed to stay up.

Unless the background was changed to green and the red changed to the away top yellow then I wouldn't have them.

Deffinitley No. There will have to be for the commonwealth games though and theres no pint arguing against it. One thing I would say however in regards to the commonwealth games is that the Union Jack should not be hung from the flagpoles on the roof that fly our champions flag, tri colour etc. We are a British club no doubt about it but we are separate in our heritage, traditions and beliefs which totally contrast with those of the British empire the flag represents.
