Reo Hatate

Don’t want to be THAT guy after a day like today, but any reason this wee * refused to join in the goal celebrations with his teammates?

A 19 year old striker has just scored his first Celtic goal and it’s at Hampden against Rangers. Get over there and congratulate him

 

Really can't go him..

Was decent in extra time but he was losing it and bottling tackles when he came on. Kicking it straight outta play. Row z efforts..

He's too hit and miss for us in games like this and in general. Although as I say, he did improve in extra time and beat their press as it went on..

We can do and will do much better than the Reo of the last year or so..

 

I used to like him a lot but hes been pish for ages.
Looks like he cant be arsed either.
Get rid as soon as possible.

 

Hopefully shipped out in Jan & replacement brought in. We could still get £10-12m for him.

 

Thought we looked a lot worse when he came on.

 

He's done. Love the guy but it's time for him to move on.

 

Even when he came on he was taking five and six touches for no reason.

Slowing the play right down, allowing them to get back in to shape.

Been sick of the sight of him for a long time.

It’s best for all parties if we sell him in January.

However, as I’ve said plenty on here, I don’t know who he thinks he’s going to.

Celtic are the best team he’ll ever play for. Not club. Team.

Lower end Bundesliga or Ligue 1 if he’s lucky.

 

A waste of a Celtic jersey. We would have been better bringing Balikwisha on instead at that stage.
He never celebrates our goals with the players too. Missed a gilt edged chance too, that would have killed the game stone dead. I think he has mentally checked out.

Hope he gets shifted in January

 

There are enough games coming that we will need to use him, but I think the starting midfield today is the answer for most games. I wouldnt even have Hatate ahead of Bernardo or McCowan anymore. He clearly wants to go and he isnt contributing much we would miss.

 

Unplayable on his day but nowhere near consistent enough. I always thought at his best we would struggle to replace someone of his quality but we could get someone more consistent in that’s for sure. Definitely time to go.

 

He's pedestrian as *. He wants to get to January without any injuries and it shows.

 

Did anyone see his reaction when McGregor scored * while Celtic players went mad his face was tripping him and looked like he had a sevco strip on with his reaction and looks like he's on the way out in January.

 

Finally have a manager who's found his best position

 

I was a big admirer for the first couple of years but recently he's been stinking the place out.
He's reached his shelf life for us now. Needs moving out the team for Bernardo and shipping in Jan

 

He genuinely looks like he has been Space Jam’d and some wee Alien is running about with his talent.

Yeah he has always been infuriating and capable of giving the ball away cheaply but that was mixed with Fast feet dribbles and excellent turns from body movement, some excellent passes and a few bangers of goals. Hatate of old would have burried that chance at the end of the game and probably done better with the snap shot just after he came on.

He looks like he is massively overthinking everything in the final third and nothing is coming naturally too him.

 

Reo has chucked it, even worse now that he's spat the dummy after being dropped by MoN.
Yesterday he passed sideways and generally hid or gave the ball away.
Wondering if he was also denied a move, like Maeda.

Either which way, like Maeda, its time for both to be moved on in Jan whilst they have value - it's declining every game too

 

I actually thought he popped up a lot in good positions when he came.. and taking a few touches wasn't a bad thing, we needed a bit of composure...

He has always come across as moody, but he may be better to move on in January as does look disinterested, even for him..

Would love to replace him with a Caicedo type character.

 

He's been trained out of his natural style, and may take a while to get his mojo back. I feel.like he's unhappy and wants/should be moved on, but I'm not immediately giving up on him yet... It's pretty clear his game, and what Rodgers wanted from him are chalk and cheese...

 

He doesn't work hard enough now. The rest of the midfield were chasing the huns on the ball, while he chucks it if they get 5 yards in front of him.
