The issue we have is we don’t have the squad depth to start benching underperforming players

 

Honking all game. He started so brightly 4 years ago or however long it was but since then it's been decline season on season for me. Great ability at times but he's a luxury we cannot afford to carry any longer.

 

Getting sick of him.

Used to be able to drive forward with the ball. Now plays the football version of netball - seems to think whenever he receives the ball he's to stand still.

In addition to that, he just never releases the ball at the right time anymore. Carries it too long and gets dispossessed. And on the occasions he does play a pass? Makes a total * of it and gives it straight to the opposition.

The decline of this guy is incredible. We used to be such an expressive team with him at the heart of it. Take him out and we looked so much worse for it.

Now? Can't do a thing right.

 

I remember how good he was when he first arrived.

He’s not even half the player he was 4 years ago.

 

For every positive thing he does, he does two or three headless things. Very frustrating because we know that, on his day, he’s quite talented.

Rodgers always has his favourites, but I’m finding it hard to understand why Hatate starts constantly.

Always liked him but his time is up. Woeful this season. Still making the same mistakes he did 4 years ago.

 

Hatate is a man down in every game, he is lazy, inconsistent, can't tackle and his passes
are always going astray, and I can't recall the last time he had a meaningful impact on a game
or scored a goal. He needs dropped for the rest of the season, and ideally sold in the January
transfer window. Rotate Balikwisha/Bernado/McCowan in his position for different games.

He is the main problem in our midfield. Has been for a long time.

 

Think he wants out the door with Meada as well.

 

Serious question. Who's signing him?

Would need to be a club with a recruitment team as useless as ours to watch him and say "aye he looks a player".

 

Genuinely can't stand the sight of him anymore. Want him gone..

That’s the worst kept secret in our squad, he’s been looking for a move for about 2 years and had a few bids turned down for him previously.

I saw someone say he reminds them of Ntcham and that feels like how this is going with him. He’s been awful this season and needs dropped.

 

IMO one of the most overrated players to ever wear the hoops. If not THE.

Had a decent first season and a couple of semi-decent performances per season. I would genuinely give him away for free. Behind McArdle imo.

 

You really find out about players when things get tough and yesterday we really needed the quality Hatate to show up and instead we got constant turnovers even in the first half when we actually were fairly decent.
