Can't help but feel the cynical idea that he's got a large payout written into the contract if we sack him in his term at the moment...

 

Genuinely what's the benefit in keeping him on at this point?

 

Has to go tonight if we want to win this league.

Hearts are nothing special and an 8pt gap isn't uncatchable but only if we make the changes.

We need 3 or 4 signings in January but there is no chance any club would allow a manager who's leaving in the summer make those amount of signings nevermind one with as dreadful a track record as Rodgers

People going on about past achievments can bolt as well. We owe him nothing, in the same way he owed us nothing when the board shafted him in his last spell and he left.

To answer.. the only argument is that the board are goons who may go down the Lennon/Kennedy route to end of season. Which is actually worse than Rodgers.

 

Be that as it may but we've just been embarrassed by Hearts.

A team who's best players are 2 Scottish centre backs that have 1 Scotland cap between them in an era of Hanley, Souttar and Hendry, a striker who can't get a game ahead of Dykes and Adams, a greek journeyman winger and some Portuguese * signed from the Norwegian 2nd division.

That's the standard we are up against.
