Schmeichel doesn't look fit, his distribution is terrible, he rarely comes for crosses and was really caught out by a speculative shot last night. I hear folk saying, he's a good shotstopper, to quote Roy Keane, that's his job. Sinisallo must come in and Kasper should sit on the bench.

Last night's * up reminded me of bit in Keane's book where he went in goals at training after Gordon let one in from 35 yards to make his point that keepers shouldn't be getting beat from that distance

Tounekti and IIheanacho will run riot and get a goal each, I reckon. Motherwell haven't really been tested thus far in The SPFL, and I think they'll crumble at Celtic Park on Sunday.

Even CCV has been poor this season. Best CB we've had since VVD, but not looking comfortable with the ball at his feet recently.

Our right side is so poor, and our squad so unbalanced, it's incredibly difficult to pick a team.

I think we're really missing the support Taylor gave CalMac in the middle of the park. Just wondering if there's a midfieldet we can play as an inverted right fullback. Sure Hatate has played LB before so could he play RB? I know it sounds mental, but maybe him and Daizen could build some kind of partnership down the right. That's if Daizen can pull his head out of his *.

    Sinisalo
    Hatate - CCV - Scales - KT
    CalMac
    Nygren - Engles
    Daizen - Kel - Tounekti

He was also easily turned and out-muscled a few times on Thursday which is usually his strongest attribute. His distribution has never been his strong point. What I can’t stand is his walking with the ball everytime he gets it (especially at the start of games). Zero urgency or intensity.

I don’t think Scales is the future but he has been far better than CCV so far this season.

Think somethings got to give here.

Motherwell, to their credit, playing some good football in the deck and giving it a go. Which could play into our hands....if our hands weren't full of sideways pedestrian football.
First 11 changes need to happen and Rodgers has got to get over himself and stop being loyal to underperforming players also.
    For me...sinisalo deserves a chanfe as no.1.
    Sarrachi to start.
As much as It should happen calmac needs dropped/rested.
Sadly not much we can do as we have * all depth especially up top.

Dont disagree and I think Sinisalo deserves a run.

One thing that struck my against Braga though is how many times the ball goes back to our keeper compared to the opposition. It puts the keeper under pressure whoever it is because we go back so much. Braga defenders got the ball and instantly looked to move forward. We go short pass side to side and back. It asks a lot of goal keepers and I cant see much benefit from it.

Especially when the three RW options in that system are a useless Yang, a finished Forrest and a Maeda who clearly doesn't have his head in the game

Bernardo and McCowan have to start in MF, the third slot between Nygren, Hatate, Cal, Engels or Balikwisha could be selected out a hat

    No margin for error anymore.

This is definitely a must win game and there's no denying that dropping more points would put even more pressure on us before we play the diets. So, I don't give a * as to how we win, just as long as we win

    Big game this.

I still think we'll win the league regardless of what happens tomorrow but there's no denying failure to get the win against Motherwell piles a ridiculous level of pressure on the manager and these players heading into the international break.

They really need the 3 points and a good win to go with it just to calm things a bit ahead of a huge period after the break. Must-win games all over the place for us just to try and get that momentum that will take us away from the rest.

Really intrigued to see how Motherwell set up here. I thought they were sensational at Tynecastle in particular and fully deserves to win the game even if they shat the bed in the last half hour or so. They were really good against the huns on opening day too and that was a great win at Pittodrie in the League Cup last month too. I think they'll stick bye their principles and try to play a passing game, which will be interesting to see.

Still got to back the Bhoys even though I said 1-1 earlier in the threat. That was done in fury after the Braga defeat.

    Celtic 2-0 Motherwell

I thought Bernardo was * the other night tbh, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him tried at #6 with Calmac ahead of him.
