I imagine those who would have used a day off are likely to just keep the annual leave for another day but!

A boycott may be the best course of action and its always difficult to not go and support the team that we love. I understand the timing of the 'Collective' being formed has meant people had to make that decision for themselves, before the Collective announced any action.

Now that we have a finally have a fan Collective in place, a Group that has done its best to capture all factions of the support, it's pivotal that we all do our best to try and support the agreed action that that group undertakes.

'Sack the Board, back the Team' is a nice tag line but they don't actually go hand in hand.

Our strength is trying to stay united across the board, whether we agree on the action as individuals or not. The Collective will also learn what works and what doesn't going forward.

We've been crying out for years to having more fan involvement in our Club, its important that the Fan Collective works.

That's why the silent protest is appropriate (imo). They can't talk about ticket prices being too high and then expect fans not to turn up for a game they've paid for. They can expect it of themselves of course but that's not a collective.

It's just the start anyhow people saying silence only affects the team but I think the boards negligence affects the team more.

Agreeing an action is going to be difficult a boycott or walk out might be more effective, but there's absolutely no doubt both would affect the Team more.

It's just the start and the longer the Board try and ignore us the stronger we'll get.

I know how you're feeling m8 and that's why we are all hoping that the malaise surrounding our club just now is resolved as quickly as possible and there's no denying that the next upcoming months will be tough for us all. Keep the Faith

It’s never going to be united though. Thursday will show that, as many believe a boycott of Europa League should have been a no brainer. This board understand one thing, and one thing only, money. If that’s not abundantly clear by now for all supporters, then it never will be. It seems that some feel there is a way back for this current board of things change. This board are done here. They’ve run their race for me. Too many times we have seen what happened over the summer. It will take drastic measures to get rid of them, but for us to move forward long term, fans need to be prepared to make big sacrifices. Something I’m not sure a lot in our support will be able to make. Can see this frittering out to be honest.

Any boycott is a big decision for fans.

It will always cause division. It is an available tactic but if its used its should be to cause maximum effect and the best way I can see that happening is if the Collective/Steering Group get a buy in across the board.

If we take the Braga game with the early ko etc it was always unlikely to be a sell out, if the Ultras attend and were noisy nobody would really notice the empty seats.

Not taking up Europa League packages won't bother those running the club either, they'll still receive their salaries and with £80m+ in the bank it will have next to zero affect, in the short term. Totally understand as an individual why you've made that decision tho.

I do agree this board is finished though and like I say the best way to force change is through being united, even if it means there's action that isn't popular

Always hate playing teams in Europe that are struggling domestically as they always seem to have more impetus to put in a performance. Struggled with goals but hopefully Kelechi starting again means we can capitalise on chances more throughout the game.

They managed to beat Feyenoord, who are unbeaten domestically..

So we'll need to be at our best.

Yeah and the Huns got slapped silly by us in the league that year. None of it matters. Perception is reality and the visuals of this will look awful if we don’t engineer a win.

This game is symbolic in many ways to the extent that it is a potentially season defining game

Injury update from the manager today

Hopefully both can have a spot on the bench tomorrow

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Reo Hatate and Auston Trusty have returned to Celtic training ahead of the Europa League match against Braga.

The Parkhead duo were pictured back on the grass as they step up their return from injury.

Rodgers revealed in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday that the pair would be close to the squad, starting with the match against Braga.

It is unclear whether Hatate and Trusty will be involved tomorrow night, having only recently returned to training, but Rodgers is expecting them to be involved in the near future.

"Auston is back training, which is great.

"Reo is back training, which is good.

"The two guys I mentioned will be close to the squad."

They did and thats a very good result for them. It seems like they may be in a similar situation to ourselves lately in that they are not scoring a lot or conceding a lot. So not likely to be many goals on Thursday night I would think.
