He’s just no good enough and we have been held to ransom for a bang average player.

Would rather have Palma playing he at least had some tricks and could play a through ball, there was a moment against hibs where MB looked completely all over the place. What are our scouts seeing in this guy, there’s been better options in the spl.

 

I haven’t seen enough of him to determine whether he’s a decent player.

It does not look like he’s a player that fits our style or system though. How they’ve been chasing him a year is beyond me.

 

People seem on his back really quickly. Had very few minutes so far. Seems to be a victim of the bad feeling among the fans just now.

 

Sadly, judging by his performances so far, he looks like another player who won't make it at our club. If it was Rodgers who chased him then Rodgers needs to accept that he's fecked it up .

Most clips on his reels he was playing left wing and already people are trying to shoehorn him in to midfield as an 8 or a 6 ffs. Good luck with that, looks a shitebag and has no heart but let's stick him in the deep lying role..

And yet we still identified him for over a year for that position and had it confirmed by Rodgers that it was with Maeda leaving in mind..

 

Aye it's pretty mental. Not writing him off yet personally but he's not the type of winger who thrives here.

Maeda is a bit of an anomaly in that his work rate, pace, and ability to use those in combination, is freakish. His runs in behind are something that Balikwisha could replace but Maeda's shortcomings are only tolerated because his extreme plus points.

Seems weird to replace him with another winger that plays that way when you're never going to find someone like Maeda.

Balikwisha reminds me of Scott Sinclair when he lost his pace near the end of his time here. He was good for a goal but did little outside of it and was very negative on the ball. Yet to be seen if Balikwisha is even a goal threat though.

 

I dare ye to say Yang is better

 

My * this guy better be injured. Unforgivable that he wasn't turned to when we were chasing a goal in Europe. £5m for * sake and we're still looking towards James Forrest to come on and change things.

Can only assume that Rodgers didn't think he was good enough to bring on and make an impact. Which brings its own major questions.
