    * me. You might be the dumbest * on this forum.

I'm gonna try and explain this one last time before putting you on ignore.

We have the best squad in the country bcoz player for player we have better ones than likes of Livingston, Falkirk, St Mirren, Kilmarnock etc. anyone who knows anything about football can see that.

    It's really not that complicated.

Also the other aren't expected to win trebles bcoz wait for it...... They don't have the best squad in the country. We do.

I'm done now. Perhaps one of the other members of the forum could maybe explain it to you in crayon on something.

This argument doesn't work. Today was our 3rd game in 6 days. You can't just play the same team in this scenario players need to be rested and rotated, especially considering we had to travel to Serbia on Wednesday. So you can't just take 1 game in isolation and say "Aww its Hibs our squad is worth so much more than them we should never drop points to them" Its not even slightly an argument. This is again why the summer window is the root cause of every single problem we're seeing, we now don't have a squad good enough to be playing 3 games in 6 days and winning every single one of them with free flowing football. We don't have a depth of strikers and wingers that can score the goals needed to get the results. So for me pointing the finger at Brendan and the management team is just a total waste of time.

As I said previously, you are a narrow minded simpleton who has no basic grasp of what's actually needed to win these games. Be doing me a massive favour if you stick me on ignore I'd rather read a hun forum than trudge through your braindead logic, at least I'd be entertained.

Recruitment since BR returned has been utterly abysmal. If it wasn't for Ange's team and its backbone I dont know where we would be. CCV, Johnston, McGregor, Maeda, Hatate. It really is pretty unbelievable the waste of money. Engels and Bernardo not getting a look in. Trusty was the same. You wonder what the thinking is. Now Balikwisha who looks truly awful. That's about £25 million of talent doing sod all.

I love BR but he hasn't covered himself in glory.

  5. No doubt he was shafted in the window with lack of signings and the late timing of the ones we did get in.

However, that’s another big game he’s failed to win. He was a big game specialist in his first stint, that mentality and know how seems to be gone.

A good manager gets a squad performing better than the sum of its parts. Rodgers isn’t doing that right now and hasn’t for a while.

I’m not calling for his head because there are bigger problems at the club but I don’t think many supporters will be disappointed if he doesn’t stay on after this season.

His subs today were very bizarre. Not unusual to say that either.

What I loved about Rodgers first time around was his ability to change formation depending on circumstances and also his in game management. Now he seems wedded to 4-3-3 no matter what and his in game management amounts to plan b being to do plan a better.

This is my biggest gripe with him. Not saying he should just rip up all his plans and start from scratch, but you can't argue we don't have good enough options across the front 3 and excuse the manager who refuses to play any other way than 4-3-3.

Maybe use the squad you have got to tweak the formation and get the best out of their attributes? Even try something the opponent isn't expecting?

He's been given a very hard task to do by the board, that is undeniable, but he may as well hand the opposition manager his team sheet a week in advance as they all know how we'll play every week regardless.

Really needs a plan B other than like for like substitutions.
He's a slave to the system.

Formation is now so stubbornly set that every opposition team know exactly how to setup and subsequently we are very easy to defend/play against.
Each player seems rigidly tied to their position too, no real flexibility - other than wingers swapping sides now and again.

There are so many options from adding one to midfield and playing 1 or 2 strikers as a 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 against better teams
Back 3 with KT - CCV - AJ to go 3-4-3 against SPL dross
    etc etc etc

I was used to going to games genuinely wondering what the formation might be (both teams) and how it might change on a game to game basis.

Cmon Brendan, if you keep doing the same thing every time and expect a different outcome....
4x 0-0's this season already against very, very average teams - Kairat X2, Rangers and now Hibs

Soon as he made the subs it finished us, poor tactics and lacknof imagination is killing us.

The board will be delighted that the Brendan Brendan Brendan hoax is getting pushed. Takes the spotlight away from them.

Re-direct your anger to the Celtic establishment folks.

The 0-0s were a feature towards the end of his last term with us too. He's not alone in this respect, but the football goes stale quite quickly, and there's an identifiable pattern in his third season across his whole career.

I can't watch his 433 anymore. Especially at home against a low block.

I'm no master tactician but I'd be looking to get a manager in that plays a 352. A number 10 in the hole and two wide players that can cross into the box with 2 in the middle is the best way to score against a low block imo.

Can't wait to change from a 433. Sick of looking at it

Tells its own story a bit. We had the same problem in the first season back when we had a chronic lack of options.

If we had a professional setup that allows players to move on whilst freshening the squad up, the staleness we are seeing probably wouldn’t exist. We’ve got players in the team who expected to move on, and would have if we weren’t run like an * football team.

We weren’t actually that bad yesterday. The game should have been out of sight by half time and we created enough to win the game easily.

Agree but he could also help himself and just not make as many subs?
Taking off Tounetki was almost negligent.

Could be juggling to try and keep him fresh for Thursday. Something which he has had thrown at him in the past in terms of running players into the ground. Iheanacho was doing well but his minutes need managed just now as well. The fact we had to turn to Kenny is on the board, not Rodgers.

We had more than enough clear cut chances to win that game yesterday. That's not on Rodgers.

The board, ie. Desmond, Lawwell and The SexDoll * him, zero doubt about that.

And we should have had the game out of sight by half time.

But he took off goal threats, replaced them with non entities, and he is far too rigid in his approach.
His game management at times is pure madness, kairat, Sevco, now Hibs. All three teams literally there for the taking with a few tactical tweaks, but he's utterly blind to these things.

His set up against Sevco is absolutely CRIMINAL imo. Over and over again.
Even the most * managers can see his approach isn't working, too light in midfield. Making hard work of a fixture we should be utterly flattening that mob in.

He needs to wise the * up. Switch out of this turgid 4-3-3, stop picking favourites and start acting like the so-called "elite manager" so many are fond of calling him.

26 shots at goal, 2 off the woodwork, nearly 80% possession but yeah it's all BR's fault ...open yer * eyes man, we're just not clinical enough across teh front 3, we look blunt as * in attack despite creating so many chances. That for me is down to recruitment, not management.

3rd game in 6 days, another 2 games coming up in the next week. That's why he made subs. The reason we dipped when the subs came on is we don't have enough quality on the bench to influence games from a drawing or losing position. Attacking options are garbage after that transfer window. Blame Brendan all you want but you're simply glossing over the root cause of the issue which is our squad is crap.
