You literally proved my point in your last post. We kept players against their wishes because our recruitment team and board were incapable of doing their jobs. You then wonder why performances have dipped and we aren't playing the same. You then blame Brendan for it. Hence being a fud.

Team has run its course, lost kyogo, kuhn, jota to injury, maeda looking away, hatate playing like it too, then you have the buys he identified, idah who went, engels who is garbage, trusty who cant get a game.

Then the lads who are on a downward spiral with age, mcgregor, forrest, and the obvious dross who shouldnt be here.

There are very few who deserve to witness the next chapter, Brendan included in this imo.

Tell that to every Celtic fan holding sack the board banners then. If all the problems are on the pitch what on earth do the board have to do with it?

Of course I'm defensive, its narrow minded * attitudes like this that create messes like this in the first place. How can you play brilliant attacking football and win every week with a squad of players incapable of playing it?

As Celtic fans, we have standards of what we expect to see on the pitch, I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can look at that squad of players we have and then shout that its Brendans fault that the football is pish. Obviously its pish! Sick of saying it, our striking and winger options are pathetic and not up to the task. Constantly sell our best attacking options without replacement and now people are wondering why Yang, Forrest, Balikwisha and Kenny arent playing to the same standard as Kyogo, Kuhn, Abada etc its absolutely laughable.

Name me 1 team we've came up against this season who are expected to win a treble and compete in Europe and need a quality squad capable of doing so.

You’re completely missing the * point.

The football WAS the same when we had Kyogo, Jota, and Kuhn. It was on a massive decline with a host of poor performances back to last season. Even his first year saw a lot of atrocious displays too.

And how can you play brilliant attacking football every week? We don’t play it ANY week!!

A lot of the fans protesting against the board have plenty of stick to give Rodgers too btw.

Yeah I bet you were screaming at your TV shouting last season when we went 1-0 up in the Allianz and took Bayern to the limit in the CL. What * football we played every week. Other than the Scottish Cup final, we had a very successful season last year.

Its you who's missing the * point expecting the team to play better than last year after downsizing it and bringing in players of lesser quality.

We did play * football most weeks. Go through the match threads and see what people thought of the performances week to week.

Munich (which we didn’t actually win btw), was a fantastic performance. But it’s a totally different game to what we’re playing week to week domestically. And that’s our bread and butter and where Celtic are expected to entertain.

And we don’t. Haven’t for some time

Stop banging on about * trebles and Europe and answer the question.

We are expected to beat teams that we are better than it's that * simple and he's failing at it.

Iv already said the recruitment wasn't good enough but we still have a squad were just about every single player would walk into every team we have faced this season.

Take your tongue out the managers * and actually watch some * football.

With that squad he has he should be capable of putting out a team to play attractive football and capable of scoring a * goal against pish like Almaty.

He's failing to do his job properly and deserves his share of the criticism

We still won most weeks and picked up a domestic double. I'm not demanding breath taking 6-0 wins every week I'd prefer it if we just put in good performances and win the bulk of our games. We were a good watch for large parts of last season, I very much enjoyed our Champions Legaue campaign. Obviously our performances against Rangers have been largely poor and that is one area I would criticise our management. But given the fact we were still the ones lifting silverware again its the least of my worries.

What your asking for in terms of style of play requires spot on recruitment as well. Are you suggesting another manager could take our current squad and have it playing the way you expect?

Lol what? Have you even been reading my posts? I 'proved your point', that is wild.

You've no answer to why we seen this drop off last season, with Kuhn, Jota, on-form Daizen still at the club. The summer window doesn't even come into it in this context, so the board * transfers doesn't even come into it.

Teams in Scotland have sussed us out, which happened in Rodgers first stint aswell btw. We have enough quality to still win trophy's (including up front) but the pish poor horseshoe stuff is * all to do with the summer window.

Bury your head in the sand all you want mate, but we are in dire need of new ideas in the dugout as the current manager is far too stubborn to admit his own shortcomings.

You're a narrow-minded green spec wearing simpleton who looks at teams like a FIFA lineup and says "WE SHOULD BE WINNING!" A real * dimwit.

You can't see the big picture here nor take into fact that our team needs to be rotated and rested in order to play 3 times a week and be expected to win all 3 games. So you need to get the transfer windows and recruitment side of things spot on so you have a team to do that.

That transfer window was the biggest shambles I've ever seen, so take your wee simple minded view and stick it right up your * as you're displaying clearly that you know absolutely * all about football.

You talk so much * its not even funny. You can't even see the glaring hypocrisy in your posts. A true dyed in the wool bootlicking * puffin.

Haha nothing says you've lost the argument like throwing a tantrum and resorting to childish name calling.

If you can't wrap your head around the simple fact that our squad of 25 players is better than every other team in the country and Almaty and therefore should be more than capable of beating them or * even just scoring a goal against them then I'd suggest you maybe look closer to home before calling others dimwits and claiming others know * all about football.

Btw still waiting on you naming 1 team we have faced this season with a better squad than ours....

No doubt about it the football has fallen off a cliff since February or so. First year back was rough too, for the most part. Truth be told we've had about 6 months of outstanding football over his time back so far. Obviously there are extenuating circumstances, but that doesn't excuse the manager. In fact, it's an easy defence to hide behind.

Looking forward to next year when we freshen things up, from the board room down, fingers crossed.

Calling out your nonsense isn't losing an argument, its laughing at you and ridiculing your flawed logic.

How do you know our squad is the best in the country? What happens if Hearts won the league and Rangers finished 2nd? Would that not mean we have the 3rd best squad in the country? Or is your argument just simply based on Celtic badge = best squad?

I'm still waiting on you naming me 1 team that are expected to win a domestic treble and compete in Europe and therefore need invest that equates to what we need... I've stated numerous times we obviously have a better squad than the teams we've played but also stated in plain English that our squad isn't good enough to win 3 games a week regardless of quality of opposition. So a dimwit is an absolute correct assessment after reading your replies.

All behind him when pulling this board up....But if he thinks we are all buttoned up the * back about not criticizing him he got another thing coming.

Absolute shocking management today...even for his standards.

We don't need a £30 million pound squad to beat a poor Hibs side at home.

Taking off Striker and not playing individuals that should be in the team is shocking.

If he is going to setup and not change things...* about with Subs etc.....Then just * off now in my opinion.

The board have * him and * us....But this is ridiculous management and throwing the dummy out the pram and cheating supporters is not on.

Elite Managers should be able to work around this regarding mediocre teams in the Scottish League.

Everything is just an utter * now....Id rather everyone involved should just get to * now...not sit here and watch us plummet down a league until some * off at end of contract.
