Kenny should have been moved on or loaned out. We should have sold Yang and recruited 2 right wingers after selling Kuhn. The fact he has to bring them on in the hope to change the game goes hand in hand with the abysmal recruitment. It doesn't work as you said. It won't ever work. We have an inadequate squad for competing for 3 domestic trophies and Europa League.

People can bemoan an individual game and say "we should have had enough to beat this team." That argument holds no weight whatsoever. The big picture has to be taken into account. Its not just about beating Hibs today, the expectations here are to aim to win every game, aim to win the treble and aim to progress in Europe. That takes quality squad. We don't have that. I don't consider us even close to having that anymore. Therefore, I don't think it matters who is in the dugout when we have systematically failed to prepare our squad for the season.

 

We barely have 1 striker passable in the squad yet some folk want him to play 2.
Our 2 RW's are nowhere near good enough so we're having to play a LW out of position
Our second choice striker is also a LW (Who had his locker emptied on deadline day)

We're expected to win every single week, of course we're going to score goals and beat some teams convincingly. I'm not debating that we are still better than majority of our opposition. What I am saying however is that with that team were aren't going to win consistently while playing good football as we don't have a squad capable of doing so. 8 goals so far in 6 league games. Its a massive issue and what happens when you sell all goalscorers and leave Maeda feeling disappointed because you can't manage a transfer window.

Blaming Rodgers is the major copout here, after that shambolic transfer window you're a * plank of wood if you think our problems stem from the pitch and feed upwards and are absolutely part of the problem. Only the most bootlicking green tinted dimwit could analyse our dealings and point the finger at Brendan.

 

Are any of those teams expected to win every game of football they play in, win 3 trophies a season and compete in Europe? No?

So you're isolating individual games here to clutch at straws. We need the best squad in the country to do what's expected of us every year. Tunnel vision helps nobody. If you're honestly sitting there looking at our squad of players and claiming its more than enough to win a treble and compete in Europa League then you are indeed absolutely delusional. He's been here 27 months and barring a 5 month spell last season from August to January the football has been *.

 

kenny just doesnt look like a player that would work under rodgers system, yamada held the ball up well in the hun game

forrest yester year would be one youd bring on and he get a goal in the last 20 min but it does look like hes finished

its still only september though if this was feb it would be worrying

i think iheanacho will come good and the team will start getting better

im a little worried the disharmony about the board and the fans unhappiness campaign cant help but effect the club and players

 

Its been coming for a long time but somehow last season we were 1 game off winning a treble and actually did well in the Champions Leauge? Cup final was poor, other than that we had a good season overall.

Your argument about players is as hypocritical as it gets. So I'm to believe Brendan personally signs your selection of bigger value players against the recruitment team and boards wishes and the cheaper signings are all picked elsewhere? Give your head a * wobble club has turned a profit every window since Brendan has been here in transfer dealings. Players like O'Riley and Kuhn developed and sold for huge profits. Only reason we paid massively over the odds for Idah and Engels is because our recruitment team took a * age to do anything and had to overpay to get the deals done. Ange and Brendan in his first stints in charge have had these issues for years.

Answer me this, if Brendan is the problem why are the bulk of our fans supporting a vote of no confidence in the board?

 

I just dont enjoy watching his teams play. Especially at home because we know every team will park the bus and his style just isnt good at breaking them down.

It is the best squad in the country and it is better than the 10 teams we have played this season and in most cases better by a far distance. Yet we have failed to score in 4 of those games, won 2 with last minute winners, one of which was a penalty that never was one. The only games we have won by more than 1 goal are against 2 teams promoted from the championship, a championship team and the team currently bottom of the league who haven't scored a goal in 6 games.

It's not good enough against teams who haven't got half of our resources.

He isn't doing enough with what he's got it's as simple as that

 

We know there's lots of things wrong at the club currently on & off the park. Our tactics are rotten - still far too many passes sideways and backwards. Too many players play the safe pass. We are awful to watch currently. Majority of the stadium today wanted us to play with more urgency. Every time I looked at our manager he was standing there with his clapping hands motion. He needs to be getting more out those players. Arne Engels looks lost in there.

 

i thought we were playing better than we have this season then rodgers brings on forrest,kenny and balikwisha three players who wouldnt get a game for hibs ,he must be the only * watching that who thought they would get a goal between them .

It’s actually insane how defensive you’re getting about this.

The manager’s football is a * shambles and is eye bleeding to watch. That we win the league and most of the cups whilst having a budget that dwarfs every * else is hardly some sort of unreal achievement.

At Celtic there’s a reason we talk about the style of play being so important. This style of play is utter *, and was utter * when we had our top players from last season.

Rodgers’ signings have also generally been appalling for the most part. So aye, he takes the stick
