Loves a sitter if Idah missed those chances he would be slaughtered. Same on Wednesday took the hardest of his chances

 

He missed an open goal... its a hard one to forgive if your a striker..clearly isnt fit too..

 

Poor finishing today, should have had a couple. Cant see him banging in the 20+ goals we need from a striker this season.

 

I mean like a yard ahead of him. He needs it like at his feet directly.

 

I hope the misses are just down to a lack of match sharpness, and he will get it out his system.

Still better than Idah.

 

Has quality but you can tell he's not goanny be banging the goals in. I like him, just hope he can keep the misses to a minimum.

 

Exactly this imo mate. He's short of match sharpness and he's still better than Idah. Should've buried the one that hit the bar though

 

Really like him. Going to be a very good player for us.

Should've scored in the first half and should’ve stayed on to give us an aerial threat in the final 20 minutes.

 

I feel the benchmark has been set so low by Idah I watch Iheanacho and think at least he is getting on the end of stuff, having chances and generally holding up play, making some passes and being involved. Hopefully his finishing improves as he gets more minutes.

 

Fine with him, needs more games but he's in the right places. He's not the issue.

 

Should've scored but I've no worries about him..

We can all see he's going in the right direction and already a big threat, despite being a fair bit off 100% yet..

 

Aye I like him alot. Every striker misses. He just needs to keep going

 

He’s excellent getting it into feet with his back to goal. We’ve got 2 quick wingers to run in behind onto balls.

 

At least he’s in the right place for chances, we’ve not had that in a while.

 

If his misses them in a few weeks time I’ll be * raging but I’ll put it down to march sharpness atm.

 

I said initially that he could do a job for us, but now I'm not so sure after his performance today (he just looks sluggish and half-hearted, with no real cutting edge - although he held the ball up well generally). And regardless of his fitness levels, he should have burst the net with that chance today (Stephen Hawking would've scored that!).

I hope it works out for the guy and he does well here, but his performance today has planted seeds of doubt.

 

Going to be a huge player for us this season.
A massive off day in front of goal but can see him being very productive in the coming weeks and months , a lot of favourable ties and home games for him to really get into the groove and confidence up.

 

He's proved me wrong already.
Guys hungry for it and he works hard.
Good runs, always reading the game, think he will score a load this season.
