Wouldn't go so far as "awful" but could be much better. I get that we've signed a couple of wingers, but Nygren has shown he's much better out wide.
I'd rather one of the new boys dropped to the bench along with Hatate and McCowan and Bernardo came in.

Wonder if Hatate will come onto the field after 12 minutes , like the other spectators.

 

Think we instantly looked a better as a unit against the huns when Shin came on, unless he's picked up a knock in training think it's really poor for him to get binned out.

 

Transfer window can’t be that bad if we’ve signed someone who can score a penalty.

 

Hes no made the euro squad. Hes no getting any games unless we have a major injury crisis.

 

Mental

 

Think the plan was always to play Tounekti on the right, but we'll likely see them interchange.

Our strongest midfield , two new wingers in starting and Maeda through the middle so no complaints , important Maeda finds his form in front of goal. Glad to see Donovan get a chance from the start aswell.

 

Looking forward to this now. Hopefully Brendan's presser has rallied the troops and the new faces give us a lift.
Will try and not be too critical given that awful pitch but we'll see how long that lasts.

Any highlights I watched of Touneki, he’s been exclusively playing off the left. Every single clip. Balikwisha had some moments coming in off the right that I saw. I’d expect him to be on the right tbh but we shall see

 

Folk keep saying Nygren is a RW.. he was never going to be RW in our system. Even though he's played on the right, its clear we've bought him as an 8..

 

Touneki came off the bench and played on the right for his national team in his last game.

For anybody complaining about the team, the transfer window is over, there's clear problems with our board and structure that the fans are clearly taking issue with and pushing for change.

At the same time, we should be fully backing whoever we play.
