Agreed. The Dolberg deal collapsing then what happened on Monday night is it, for me.

I'm sick of spending time on here every year kidding myself on that maybe this will be the time it'll change.

It's the definition of insanity. Might be sounding insanely negative but I'm not the only one. This is the most united I've seen the support for a while.

  2. Weird as just looked and he started that game away at Blackburn, played 85 and got 2 assists in a 2 nil win. Scored the game before in a 2-1 win at home to Oxford, playing 75 minutes. 66 against Leeds after Blackburn. 90 against Luton before the Oxford game so he wasn't just deemed fit enough to get plenty game time but actually starts for them..

Is odd though as he looked in bits in that video doing the rounds..

That's a fair point. Money doesn't always guarantee success.

Some would argue we improved by qualifying into the champions league knock outs and running Bayern into stoppage time. A Schmeichel * up away from a domestic treble as well.

My concern is how we have been against the huns. This calendar year we haven't kicked our own * against them.

Two of those games we were up against the managerial genius of Barry Ferguson.

I don't think that's on the board though, it lands at the manager and his staff's door.

He will have song by Christmas!

Welcome, sure you have a lot to prove, and I'm sure you will!

  6. Do you think this window is a success? Compared to last years?

Do you think this current side would do what we done in last seasons champions league?

Spending correctly will bring success that’s been proven.

Our board spend £30 million caused they * about and left it late again, still we done the double and held a good account of ourselves in Europe.

We have already failed at the first hurdle regarding the champions league.

We are fundamentally weaker than last season and will struggle to win the league never mind do the double.

We should never be in the position like this to gamble on someone who, let’s be honest here, no * wants and he’s been absolutely * for 2-3 years.

We all want him to come in and smash it, but let’s be honest about it, do you think he is better than Idah? No, not a * chance.

    Pretty simple

If he continue the way he have been that past couple of seasons, he wont make it.

If Rodgers get him on form, he will rip this league apart.

Look at Edouard. Absolutely pathetic in the premier league and could not lace this guys boots in that league, but he was deadly as * here.

If a striker score a couple of games in a row, they get all the love in te world here. That might be what he needs.

I don't think this is a good signing but I'll still support him and the rest of the team. Not his fault Peter Lawell is a tight *.

He played his best under Rodgers at Leicester. No one including myself is excited by this but we have to get behind the big man not his fault he has arrived into a * show.

Not yet, happy to be told he doesn't look like the Boro clip doing the rounds though.

Like the others, he will get a bit of time, but the entire saga that is our transfer season is gonna mean that time is limited in scope from the majority of fans.

Looks decent here. Albeit mostly from the COVID season. But if Rodgers can get the best out of him & he gets in better condition could turn out to be good. Im clutching at straws ATM but I need some positivity.

I think he'll be good tbh. Im mostly positive about giving everyone a chance. Some folk need a crowd to perform. No a * we championship club with 3 fans chanting go on you *insert team name*

We all hope he does well but his career up until now says otherwise.

I think we are all * about the Dolberg scenario were it's hard to even remotely care about this transfer. Looking at his clips here he would probably fit into a Rodgers system quicker, plus Rodgers absolutely rated him hence he's had over 200 appearances for Leicester. And he's definitely light years ahead of Idah in terms of technical ability & being able to hold up the ball & bring others into play which Rodgers wanted from Idah but he failed to do so. Maeda for example could really benefit from Iheanach I'm hoping.

Exactly. Remember Scott sinclair? Scored 3 goals in 4 years before us. Never write him off.

I'm just hoping because everyone is writing off this guy & him getting called out by the press in Spain for being out of condition. He's coming to us with a point to prove. And the fact he fits perfectly into a Rodgers system he might turn out to be surprisingly good. A lot rests on this guy's shoulders he needs to hit the ground running immediately.

1 year deal with extension if it works out. Im sure they added (in desperation) bonuses based on performance/goals scored as well.

He will be hungry. Just got a feeling lol

He's certainly got pedigree. I'm hoping by Christmas we're all on here talking about immediately getting him tied up on a long term contract.

As long as one of them starts kicking on :56: we've basically 2 untested and an old promising youth. Luckily rodgers system half the time uses the striker as a decoy while the wings score. Wingers will probably be more important. Hope they are good. Shame they miss the game at new year... thats a *.
