He may NEED a run of games and may get that run, not down to him deserving it, but because we've no one else able to step up, or the manager wanting to use.

He has done heehaw to deserve game time, certainly this season so far (including pre season).

I'm a huge big Idah sceptic, never wanted him and hate his attitude before and after joining us.

But he was a wee bit better v St Mirren in terms of effort and getting into good positions, hit post etc.
Now that bar is pretty low and I'd sell him tomorrow - but fairs fair.
Hopefully more improvement and a goal tomorrow.

I want to believe he'll come good...I think it all boils down to application...he really needs to work harder and move more..I know he's a big guy but he's not a John hartson big guy so should definitely be making more runs and more than anything should be using his size..maybe a few tips from big John would help him.

maeda was * scoring goals first two seasons. he hit purple patch last year.
idah deserve one long run and see can become player we brought.
He never got long run games
This probably be his last season with us. We need him to do well to sell

 

But he also wasn't * for the first 2 seasons either. That's the problem, Idah has had his run as our number one striker and has failed miserably.

We're not talking about a 19 year old prodigy trying to break through and make a name for himself at Celtic. We're talking about a full international striker with over 30 Ireland appearances and over 100 appearances at Norwich either in the EPL or the Championship.

He isn't going to magically turn into a clinical goalscorer in about 6 or 7 games time. We've done this experiment with Idah already and it hasn't worked.

New frontman to take his place is an absolute priority before the window closes.

What's he been doing the last two months and all of last year?

We heard the fitness/needs a pre season all last year as an excuse for his lack of application and poor game attitude.

We've now had a preseason and he looks worse than last year.

Said it about 10 times on here, Idah can't control his performance. It happens or it doesn't, today it happens 0-5
