In a way, today couldn't have gone better TBH. It was made very clear where we are short and how much of a risk it would be not to get the players we need and then we got the 3 points with a late goal. Great planning by Brendan. :fear:

It's ridiculous we've left it this late with the manager having to call out the Board publicly, players should be in the door by now getting bedded in.

Canny understand why it's so difficult for those in charge to do the right thing by the club and supporters.

£100m sitting in the bank and we are having to watch Yang at right wing, Idah and Jonny Kenny up front and Scales at left back.

    What a * shambles

Two wingers, CDM and left back, ideally Nazinho needed. Nothings changed.

    Well maybe a striker now.

    Our squad is a mess.
Our manager is at war with the board
    The board are arseholes

Its beyond panic now its a cataclysmic fallout waiting on happen and it wont take long. When we inevitably get beat in the playoff its terminado to coin a brendan phrase.

Season will be a downward spiral fast.

In terms of what you want to do in the window, is a striker the priority? I know you're looking at wingers also, but a genuine number nine centre forward, is that still your number one target?

No, no, it's just improving. There are areas that we want to improve in the forward line. That's something we hope we can do over these remaining weeks.

I see us bringing two wingers in although one might be on loan

    This is how I feel.

The season has kicked off and I'm even less excited than I was before today's game. To me, it's going to take a lot for BR to stay beyond his contract, and this shower of * of a board absolutely do not have it in them to make it happen.

It's been said many times that the board are happy to just stay a nose ahead of whatever iteration plays out of Ibrox and scraping by in the UCL occasionally. I am beginning to think that that is an incontrovertible fact.

Our Squad is probably the weakest I've seen it for a few seasons, it was really noticeable when Rodgers made the subs today there really wasn't any feel of optimism that changes would make any difference.( apart from Forrest which is a joke as he's at the tail end of his career with us.)

I don't think he's too far off the mark. You think our club is being run remotely the way it should be given our finances and international standing?

I'm going to try and stay away until next week for the Aberdeen game. If we've done nothing more by then I might need blood pressure meds.

Our support is far too forgiving. They should have been hearing the discontent loud and proud today.

Nah, today was a day for celebration, not for disharmony and we got the result..

We aren't been run at all well, no doubt..

But, it definitely isn't all doom and gloom..

Was a performance and result that perfectly underscored what Rodgers and every one else have been saying - we need quality added to the front 3.

1 nil home to St Mirren. Dominated the game and could have scored more - but we didnt because we lack the quality.

The squad needs strengthened in obvious positions..

    But it isn't a mess..

Schmeichel, AJ, CCV, KT, McGregor, Hatate and Maeda are excellent players.

Then we have other very good squad players for domestic football at least.

The squad is, however thin for Europe and we are gambling needlessly with CL Qualification.

Domestically we're fine, for now and if we dont modernise the gap will close, but it won't be this season.

I hear you, but I think days like this are exactly the days for anger. Just when they're sitting proudly in their little perches, patting each other on the back, thinking their * smells like roses and then Bamm - suckerpunch them with shock and awe.

Ah *, it'll never happen until it's too late, but I like to dream the impossible dream.

We will see but come the end of this month. Celtic will be a toxic mess. Out the UCL, behind in the league, rodgers will keep digging the board and this place will be venomous. Dismiss me at your own choosing but it will happen. This is the ultimate summer of the fallout between everyone associated with this club!
